Going to Belsonic, Custom Square, Belfast tomorrow for Mogwai, the flaming lips and some other local bands.....but mainly for Mogwai

I saw him support Satch at the Birmingham Symphony Hall recently - mostly instrumental stuff.

Taking No. 1 son to see Nickelback at the NEC next month. Quite looking forward to it actually, they were very good at Wolverhampton Civic a couple of years ago.

I think the atmosphere at the BSH can be a little muted at times.

Quite enjoyed his performance really, although we had to leave before the end as well - I think Paul Gilbert had given the kids a headache

Saw Nickelback @ Birmingham NEC last night - my son's first "Rock" gig which he seemed to enjoy, although I think it was a bit of a shock for him (lots of very loud pyrotechnics).

Nothing else planned now, although I fancy seeing Broadcast 2000 at Birmingham Carling Academy.
