urgent help on 1st build!

luckily on my 902 case i've got the fan controller thing at the back, so I can set them down to low speeds, and during games I use a headset, so when I increase fan speed it wont really bother me. (Might not be able to say the same about the rest of the family though!)

Really hoping it all works tomorrow!

Corsair PSUs are very quiet, and the stock Antec case fans are pretty quiet on low speed, although not as good as the Noctuas by far. I'd also say that the GPU will be the loudest, but when you're not gaming you can reduce the fan speed and you'll have a pretty quiet system.

I believe it's there computer system. When you sign for the package on the padd, it should update the system automatically.

You could give your local depot a ring and they may be able to give you a 'ball park' time of when it may arrive based on where the driver is now.

Are you guys getting this horrible rain storm? I think it's slowed down the delivery guys lol.

I don't have any special materials, will an alchoholic wet wipe do?

Do you have any meths about? (Isopropyl alcohol is the best stuff)

Otherwise kitchen towel and a lot of elbow grease will do if you're stuck. (i've just read somewhere that a little bit of lemon juice will work...)

I can't recommend the wipes as i don't know what other ingredients are in them...

The "akasa TIM clean" I have infront of me says its a "citrus based solvent", so I think some lemon juice on cotton wool may be the ticket.

If aqua is another ingredient of andi's cleaner - then you could mix yourself your own little self-made batch...

I had some medical isopropyl wipes, and that rid the worst of it.

installing the cpu cooler is a pain lol, the middle bracket was too short, luckily they sent me a spare which fit. Now trying to figure out how to mount the fan clips lol.

any ideas where to get a cheap speaker from?
