URGENT NOTICE: NEXT DAY DELIVERY

They are using today and tomorrow to deliver parcels, they do not normally deliver on a Sunday however they are using it to clear the back logs in certain areas.

Maybe my order will come today then :D..... Hopefully however its not looking good according to there website as it hasnt been updated.

Still i'll never be using DPD again id rather use second class royal mail as DPDs Customer service is non-existant and there phone number just cuts you off.

^what you on about D:
DPP are a beutiful and the best parcel delivery service I ever use!
Citylink and Parcel force, now they're terrible, and their tracking is crap.
Took them 5 days to deliver my package on a next day delivery...... and didn't tell me what day it would come after they didn't deliver it.....

but royal mail, if it coems on sunday or saturday, I can forgive them, cause the ice on the paths is horrible to walk in.

Parcel force and City link are decent in my area, atleast my packages arrive on time.

My next day delivery posted on the 3rd with DPD still hasnt arrived despite being dispatched to my house 4 times this week and the roads are pretty much clear now.

Unfortunately at the moment the whole delivery network seems to be affected worser than others depending on the area it is being received, and the area it is being sent from. It is all a ballgame at the moment to be honest and DPD are by far one of the best delivery services we have used however the way things are at the moment everyone seems to be struggling.

The phone number is cutting you off more than likely due to the high volume of calls being dialed into their line.

Most companys would atleast put you on hold and reply to your webmessages helpfully not just stating the obvious.

However the annoying thing is they put on there website to wait in for delivery because my package is on the way and then cancel it due to weather which is a load of ******** since 99% of the snow and ice is cleared now. So i've spent pretty much a full week waiting for the door and no joy.

Even though all other parcels have arrived even parcels ordered monday 1st class from royal mail arrived.

First impressions arent looking good ^^

Well I paid £16.75 yesterday for guaranteed Saturday delivery,
I had no idea there were problems, and I was allowed to order as normal.
My local depo is Newbury, theres been no snow here for 10 days now. Even when there was it wasn't too bad we only had a day of it.
DPD website shows my parcel as recieved in sortation hub, it has done since last night. I wouldn't mind so much if they told you anything but im just left here in limbo, wondering if its going to turn up.

I've lost my Saturday and can't get that back (at least I took the risk of walking the dog this morning) but I will be getting my money back. Im not giving away the best part of £17 for nothing. I paid for Next day Saturday delivery, they failed to deliver = Refund

Ordered a box full of livefood on tuesday royal mail 2nd class delivery, they turned up today. Yes TODAY. Royal mail must be even delivering on sundays to clear there backlog DPD didnt even ship my order out on saturday and all of the snow is now melted away.

Hoping for a monday delivery fingers crossed.

Dang I missed my Mouse yesterday on Royal Mail First class oops. It took like a week. I gotta go tommorow and collect it. RM came around 8 am where I was doing zzz in my bed lol

I'd phone up before you go down, had a card through my door saying i had to go collect a parcel of mine 24 hours after the card was posted through my door but the dude at the depo told me i had to wait 48 hours before i could collect.

RM can be dumb sometimes but atleast they deliver, and we are to blame if we miss it. unlike DPD with there no shows lol.

mythicdawn07 mostly I have always gone on the next day. Missed quite a lot of times :) I forgot to put the door bell plug lol.

I will see if its 24 hours or not on the card. But if its 48 I will go on Tuesday. It should be 24 hours. My RM Depot is not far away. Take the bus, reach there in 10-15 minutes hehe.

+1 I am a good neighbour. I have collected some parcels from Parcel Force & Home Delivery for others. But none of the neighbour have collected mine arg@@.

Anyway I don't think DPD will do that. You got to dial their automatic system on the phone for it which is a sad thing.

Maybe my depo is just useless its only down the road and the card said 24 hours but the gimp behind the desk made me wait 48 lol.
