I`m in the same position,saying it`s at their Hub.If it`s HUB 3 it`s in Birmingham mate.They reckon they can sort 45,000 parcels an hour at that place.Wish they would get mine processed so i can go home.

According to the weather forecast,they`re expecting heavy snow towards the end of next week again.I have a deal for someone.Anyone near Birmingham,go get my parcels,and i`ll take you back to Sicily for a freebie holiday,away from all this crap 
i placed a order on friday. thinking yeah i would get it on a saturday, they should have least put a announment on the website, or cut the saturday delivery option thing off.
anyways i waited all day sat, all day sun. and now 2days monday.
hopefully ill get sumin 2day.
does any 1 no how long they will take.
also, we payed extra for sat delivery, is there anyway to claim the difference back

I can't complain since it's free delivery. I guess they aren't delivering on the weekends... Mine was sent out on the 9th, arrived at the local depot yesterday morning. Hopefully today.
What I can't get over the most is last winter was not any different than this, and the UK was caught out once again. Even past winters have been worse than this. I know we've had a long run of mild winters but seriously the way things have ran these last few years you'd think we've only ever first encountered snow. Even our town bins were never emptied for two weeks yet all the main roads were clear.
Why does this country never prepare for the worst? why does UK never invest in things? what scares me the most when I see how other countries operate things better, they actually care. I mean how bad does it need to be for a wake up call how obsolete this country is when people have been stuck in trucks and cars on the motor ways... then they turn around and say they have done an outstanding job. I'm not talking about the Police etc etc who were the ones that were doing fantastic things in the terrible weather. Then the politicians blame the weather forecast for their incompetence.
Also who was the bright spark(s) that couldn't think of taking the snow ploughs to clear the hard shoulders. Has common sense been forgotten about safety and emergency areas...

I'm pretty sure you'll be re-embursed, however, overclockers will have to claim it back from dpd then pay it back to you as I understand it.
Mines showing at local depot now so at least its on the move!

fortunately I didnt actually pay for it otherwise i wouldnt be too happy

Tracking the parcel it still shows "awaiting receipt" which ringing them means its still in the depot in Stafford (or wherever it is for OcUK) so still got to come to bham depot before delivery

"Awaiting Receipt" usually means it's stored in their Storage Hubs until your local depo has enough room to collect it. At the moment this should only be a few days or atleast it was for mine.
I'd be sure to check your order around 10am before you go anywhere. Last week when I got mine I checked it at 8:30 and called them and they said it was due for tomorrow however at around 10am it was on the truck to be delivered.
The guy said they are just delivering stuff asap and arnt giving notice at the moment.

£16.25 for saturday delivery.
Its out for delivery now, so may get it today.

Just in case this helps anyone else, my order was made last Wednesday. It arrived at their sorting hub that evening, sat there until early Sunday morning when it arrived at my local depot, and today it showed up as "out for delivery" at about 9am. It's just arrived.
So it looks like the tracking website is pretty trustworthy.

I think that OCuK charging for next day delivery is absolutely shocking when they know they cannot deliver a next day service.
I have recommended two friends use OCuK this month one of them purchased a cataclysm PC at the cost of £1300 and another friend just purchasing some upgrade components. Both have had issues with there orders !
I Understand this is out of your control and personally I get free delivery so it wouldn't bother me so much, but I have recommended people purchase from here then they have been done out of £10 or more for a next day service they didn't get. If you cant make good on something you should not charge for it.
I am now getting grief for recommending OCUK to friends over this.
I work for a games development company in the IT department and the artists / programmers ask us for advice and I have been recommending OCUK as someone who has used your shop for a long time.
If it is not in your control do not take peoples money for a service that cannot be provided.
As such I don't see how I can recommend OCUK to friends again getting into work on a Monday morning to an annoyed programmer because the web note he sent complaining about not receiving his package basically said "deal with it" will stop me recommending the company again for the handling of this situation.
