the problem as I understand it is there are only so many places you can source hi-res uOled modules and those that do make them want to sell in volume to the likes of Apple for $$$

so we need a break though in displays to land something like a MeganeX with decent fov before Hypervision pancake lenses even come into play

most people seem to think its a good 3yrs out

The Pimax Dream Air seems to be the nearest thing to my wishlist, aside from the FOV being a bit disappointimg. But, and it's a huuuuge but - it's Pimax! Never had a Pimax headset but from what I read and hear recently it's about 50/50 that you'll get one with problems (Crystal Light anyway). Which is just beyond idiotic.
