TV in the living room, PC in my room, tablet when travelling, and phone when I can't access the other devices. Everyone will have different ways watching YouTube with different reasons.

I either own, or have access in my house to, smartwatches, TVs, laptops, tablets and even a phone with a much higher spec screen... yet the PC is still the most convenient and provides the best experience for me, so is pretty much the only thing I ever use.
It's just horses for courses... which is presumably why you went "Pffft" like one! :p
 
I've not used Vanced for quite a while, since I subbed to YouTube premium through the vpn £1/month idea.

But Wow!

I've just installed it again, and blimey I didn't realise how good it had become. And yeah I can now see why Google wanted it shut down.
Even with a premium account, it's great to watch content where the Vanced app edits out the sponsor content (clever stuff), the dislike (thumbs down) number is present (didn't realise I missed that so much), the seek bar can be used without having to tap the blinkin thing. Little things that make this app great.

Yep love it, and it's definitely staying installed on my phone.
 
Only just seen this thread, damn... That's a shame..Vanced is one of my fav apps I use it daily, still working as of now though. Especially love the skipping of and ads/intros too.
 
Any one able to help on this? I keep getting a notification about allowing vanced microG to run in the background (battery optimisation). Fine but the issue is that the app isn't in the list of apps for battery optimisation, YT Vanced is and already has 'no restriction' applied to it. vanced microG is nowhere to be found, have also expanded the list to include system apps.

Poco F3 Android 12.

It's a weird MIUI restriction, for some reason Xiaomi makes it hard to whitelist apps (not just Vanced). Not sure if it'll help but try the solution here?: https://www.reddit.com/r/Vanced/com.../?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
 
My Vanced works still on 16.29.39 on the phone. No idea what my tablet has but I must have uninstalled Manager on my phone some time ago

My Vanced now directs me to watch the content on YouTube instead. Panic stations.

Edit: panic over it seems, ReVanced works great.

Edit 2: I take that back, ReVanced buffers videos unless I skip to the end then press replay.

Edit 3: can't be arsed mucking around so just subscribed to YouTube Premium. Well played Google.
