That's one funny thing about the cards, they talk about the games and their value contributing to the price, yet on amd's pack slides it says they're free..

My girlfriend bought me a black Vega64 to compliment my Ryzen rig that arrives tomorrow and I asked if it comes with the free games but apparently she'd have to pay an extra tenner to get them, But the pack is on pre-order which to me makes no sense if it's just game codes.

So not only are the cards overpriced, you now have to pay extra for the "free" games? Wtf. Be interesting to see what spin is put on this by any of the ocuk staff that happen to see this. That just sounds as if they're taking the codes for themselves and selling them separate.

Like literally THE same exact card manufacturer but one which costs a tenner more comes with the "free" games, I'm sorry but that just stinks to high heaven of pure greed, There's being a money making business and then there's just being plain greedy, For a measly tenner.

To be clear my disdain is towards AMD not OCUK.

And the 1080 had a lot of buys, despite it being roughly 980ti performance, even had people selling their ti for a 1080. :confused:

We have your parcel, and it's on its way to our Bicester depot...

The EK waterblocks were late delivered, but OKUK seems to have pulled it off to deliver the fitted card tomorrow. I am off next week :)
 
I'll continue watching this with interest as I'm currently running a 4k vanilla (no GSync or FS) monitor with a 980Ti and considering my upgrade options.

I want a new monitor but not convinced by G Sync so if Vega pricing stabilizes at reasonable levels and AMD act quickly and iron out the various teething problems with drivers and stability then I'd still consider it, simply because it provides so many more monitor options.
