VEGA IS FINALLY HERE, ITS IN STOCK ALONG WITH SOME EPIC BUNDLES & FREESYNC DEALS!!

They aren't selling that well and the whole release has been a **** show.
The release was a complete mess but trying to same they aren't selling well is just laughable XD

Also to say it matches/beats a 1080 is a lie.
Apart from the bits where it matches/beats a 1080 in reviews ofc.

Hell my V64 matches/beats my 1080s in most games and benchmarks (and makes less annoying noise while doing so which I was not expecting) so the reviews are obviously applicable to the real world.

shame they didnt include 1080 in 8k review. seems like it would but who wants to game at 14 fps :D

Source please?

Do you have any to suggest they are selling well?

People can take whatever perspective they like on this but to say it is selling well and that people are infuriated is just a load of tosh. No one wants an uncompetitive market and if people are annoyed the only reason is because they are disappointed.

A 1080 FE though, and considering the 1080 OCs better it is a bit of a skewed argument. Lets try and not distort the reality here.

And as i said above, if people are annoyed by this launch it is only because they are disappointed.

Found this interesting:
So the point of it on RX vega is? I mean they make a point about saying RX vega has it, then this seems to suggest it does bugger all for gaming.

The fact that Infinity Fabric is present on RX Vega just means Vega is designed for the HPC/Server market (his tweet also confirms what others have said that gamers aren't Nvidia's and AMD's priorities anymore and they see the HPC market as the area that will yield them the most profit) and it shows AMD can't afford to produce both a server specific GPU and a consumer/gamer GPU. I suppose "Infinity Fabric" makes for an impressive sounding strap line and something to have the box (think MMX technology from Intel) even if gamers barely benefit from it at the moment.

Well he is not wrong. It's clear he's not looking at it from only a gaming perspective so it's naturally not what the gaming market want to be told about.

He did work for Apple ;)

The old apple reality distortion field, their presentations were laughable, acting like they owned the pc market when they barely held 8%, and the ironic thing is they were formed as a computer company but are now better known for their phones, they even renamed from Apple computer ffs :p.

Received my reference MSI Vega RX 56. Out of the box already ~10% faster than my MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X. Did a DDU and fresh install of driver from AMD site.

The RX is a beautiful card, all aluminium body with a high quality feel. The lit up logo is a plus. To be honest I got bored by non-reference cards with all those multiple fans and hanging out heat pipes.

The only thing I don't understand is the GPU tach lights do not come on,although I have set it to blue and "on". Will have to try the switch again.
