VEGA IS FINALLY HERE, ITS IN STOCK ALONG WITH SOME EPIC BUNDLES & FREESYNC DEALS!!

How Come other than the Launch Version the 64 IS Between £550-£600 ? 500 Dollars plus VAT is £462.72 Hope Vega 56 Is Under 400 pounds otherwise will be forced into getting a RX 580 :( For my soon to be 27" 1440p 144hz 1ms Monitor :(
Limited time/stock deal. It's $599 now and going forwards.

$499 was a launch special, and is for the time being history.

And for pity's sake don't buy a 580 for 144Hz 1440p.

You dodged a bullet! The 1080Ti is the better card. Anyone buying Vega64 has a screw loose unless they are using it for compute.
You know your comments aren't insulting any more, but we just feel sympathy and pity. Similar comments were posted back in 2013, the GTX780Ti vs 290X days..... the results of that war are known....
Also Nvidia doesn't support GPU VM pass through, so is terrible product for all those who want to ditch Windows :)

Panos I know you love AMD and have constantly sung their praises. Heck even i was routing for them. I bought a Nano before you did and at the higher price point, but stop being silly and see this release for what it is. It's clear for anyone to see Vega is a MAJOR let down.

Coming a year later than the 1080, being more power hungry and only just keeping up with it in benches are major MAJOR disappointments. It's clear for anyone to see no matter how you want to spin it.

The card may well improve with time, but by then Volta will be out and what's left of Vega64 will be piled into landfills

All 0.05 percent of them ;) Most people don't give two craps about Windows vs Linux, they just use what they know. And gamers know you need Windows to game.

Linux was supposed to be rivalling Windows by now. Every year it was predicted to gain market share, that people would start flocking to it. Never happened. Doesn't look likely to happen in my lifetime, barring a massive MS ****-up.

Just watched a 25 game Benchmark of the Vega 56 vs GTX 1070 Turns out its only 1% Quicker rather than the 30% faster we were lead to believe if the Aftermarket cards come in at much over £400 seems a big let down unless they sort out the Drivers and can squeeze some more performance was really hoping the VEGA 56 would have been the perfect card for 1440p :(

Seems more than a few miners bought on impulse before reading reviews, and will simply return them if they can't get more than 30 mh/s.
No worries, they are doing 35 Mhash in reviews XD

It is sort of odd that merely matching Nvidia's cards is seen as an epic fail for AMD in some eyes (even with the almost certain prospect that they will improve) but when Nvidia launched a series of cards that was no better price/performance than the existing AMD ones and then proceeded to get much worse (as AMD released better drivers and updated BIOS) everyone was cool with it.

Frankly anyone would be mental to buy an AMD vega 64 over a 1080 now.

1080 costs £450, uses less power, overclocks more and is £100 cheaper. Why would you pay more for a GPU that only just matches in some scenarios?

As has been mentioned numerous times before launch, freesync monitors.

And seriously you demand from others to be apologetic what they do with their money, insulting them for their choice?
That's called fascism mate. And is a very bad ideology.

No it's called speaking my mind if giving people my opinion. It's entirely your fault you can't handle the truth.

Yeah I'm not sure why some people seem to think it trounces the 1070... it's almost exactly equal to it.

Been said before, FreeSync, Nvidia isn't an option, so they'll either have to stump up more cash for less performance, or just carry on turning settings down/off, and missing out on more games, until Navi arrives, to see what thats like.

I think it's more the fact that AMD's newest best card is only trading blows with Nvidia's 2nd best (3rd if we include Titan), I guess most were expecting it to trade blows with a Ti.

I don't think people are disappointed with the 56, it's the 64 most are having issues with regards to price/performance vs 1080's/Ti's

AIB cards no idea, only one AIB has and let me repeat RUMOURED, not fact, just a RUMOUR so should any bloody press site decide to quote me, is Asus have said a Strix card will be around September time, by that I assume paper launch, though I do know Asus are planning to not do any MBA cards, which means I guess they are just buying GPU+RAM kits from AMD to make their own cards, so Asus could be first in September sometime with a card. Price wise absolutely NO IDEA, again it depends if AMD want to support cost down or not.

A few day's bacxk Asus was posting pic's of a v64 Strix along with a 14th availability date worldeide, I wonder what happened there?
