Free parking on strip, generally you pay downtown

resort fee tends to cover wifi etc, pool is free though some hotels also have a "european" ( topless ) pool and you may have to pay to use that
 
Ah im not going till November, could have shared a beer somewhere on the strip :p

Btw dont do the mistake me and my mates did on our last trip and let someone navigate you to the grand canyon who is hungover. We ended up going through Utah and Arizona to get to the Grand Canyon. A 2 and a half hour drive turned into an 8 hour trip there through random hick towns :p was pretty amusing in "I cannot beleive what just happened" way :D

edit: will be trying the $20 trick! Nice little thing to know! :D

it's a lot more than a 2.5 hr drive it's about 300 miles

:eek: you were heading to the South Rim and went on North side :eek:

for anyone else don't go to the "west rim" it is not the real GC but a place called the West Canyon 100 miles from the GC, they call it the west rim to scam tourists

it's a long day but you can do it, you weren't heading to the "west rim" as mentioned above were you ( the one with the skywalk ) ?

If you are not worried about location ( and while it isn't great is not that bad ) then it's superb, a better hotel that the Bellagio in all other respects

well Bellagio has the WOW of the lake but you don't have to stay there to watch them
