Sorry to barge into this thread but I am looking at going around the October half term holidays for 4/5 nights with the wife (not with the children, will try to leave them with some grandparents) just trying to see what sort of deals are available or which sites are recommended for looking at?
all assistance appreciated, and Fox, hope you have a nice time![]()
Same in Vegas. Anything like what we paid was a waste, we had an amazing suite in the Encore but I am not a basketball player so was not having parties in my room every night.....
it's good but not the GC
Stay outside of Yosemite. Inside the park is EXPENSIVE. We stayed in the Best Western in Oakhurst, approx 1.5 hrs from the valley floor- maybe less. Depends on how many days you want in Yosemite buy my suggestion would be unless you are want to spend quality time with the lady (read, intimate time, get a mid range (100$ per night) hotel and spend the rest on food/beer/etc.
try the fatwallet vegas thread for deals
flights are cheaper if you take a connection
Oct is expensive as the weather is superb
avoid the weekend if you want good rates
Heed the advice from Mr Rotty, get a suite and spend the rest in the gun store/malls/peppermill lounge/wherever.....just not on your room.
Cheers, sort of limited on dates due to school holidays and not trying to make grandparents do the school runs as well, would be looking at mon-fri most likely, going to search out that thread now!
