Who to book a South Rim flight with...

I would book it when you get there, you often pick up cheap seats for ones which are not sold out.

As i said the 24 hour chemist is a good place to book, very easy to find and central as well.

$15 of beverage credit in the MGM will get you approx two beers. Drinks are free (well a dollar or so tip) while gambling so don't let that sway you...

Id go PH over MGM too, the MGM complex was massive. The furthest room from reception is allegedly over a mile away!

it is and the normal rooms have seen better days

I am v hard to keep up with in Vegas , my brother always gives me 3 days start when he comes out nut it doesnt help

my normal day would be out at 10.30 am, back at 6.30pm, back out within 45 mins getting home between 4 and 6 am , rinse and repeat :p

Sounds like a regular student week :P

Out of interest what is a regular week in Vegas for you? I'm interested in going after I turn 21 next year, though depending how much I can save up might turn it into an sightseeing/roadtrip like Fox, but I'd still love to spend a good chunk of time in Vegas :)

what do you mean ? what do we do ?

My parents recently got back from vegas, they stayed in the Vdara and said it was fantastic as you can actually get away from it all as its a non-gaming hotel.

Hmm we get into Vegas late on the 3rd of October & there for 5 days. Not booked hotels yet (4 lads) but I believe the current plan is the MGM...

We're there until the 6th :) Christ will be what 8/9 years since our paths crossed (can't remember if you were a year ahead at uni or not?)

The Platinum we use is similar, huge rooms too with large seperate living room, big kitchen, jacuzzi balcony etc

Avoid West Wing rooms at MGM.

I'd take P Ho over MGM, simply because of the location, but both favourites of mine for sensible money. Great poker rooms in both.

the WW rooms are better than the deluxe rooms but they are absolutely tiny

naw Harrahs have taken over PH expect the poker room to go downhill

Aye sounds very similar, every room is a suite I recall them saying, the website seem's to confirm this as well.

Sounds like the sort of place I would want to go to if I ever get out to vegas :)

Vdara's base room is struggling to be called a suite at 582 sq ft ( Platinum's is 950 ) it's somewhere between a large room and a junior suite

yes but to me the living area has to be a seperate room to be a suite, in the same room would be a junior suite

a sofa in the same room is still a room :p

having said that the Vdara rooms options seem odd

deluxe suite oprion 2 seems a Jr suite

where option 1 seems a small full suite but hard to see how to book one or other

the Wynn roons I have booked vanished off the system shortly after I booked for $1000 they are now back at $3828

I have found a forum thread saying it was a mistake but no clue as to whether they will be honoured

wouldn't be my choice but not a disaster either

oh and long time no see good sir :)

Nowt booked yet so will have a word about maybe PH...just gotta try & get 2 beds to a room, most seem to say 2 adults in a room = King bed. Damn shame we get in on the day you leave :(

Yeah at least 8 years. Think you were in my year (98 start?) Seems about that long ago I last played cs or q3 ;). Certainly seems like a chance for a beer ;)
