Viewsonic 22" Widescreen is coming.....

Likewise, I would be interested to know how it holds up against the Dell 2007 w/s. Despite what the ladies tell me, the extra 2" does make a difference!

I think it looks nice, would make a nice upgrade from 19inch/ and proberly give it another 3-5 years time much better TFTs will appear ;)

Shame they cant just stick a HDMI connector on there

Acer vrs Viewsonic

Why would I pay £350 for the 22" Viewsonic when the Acer uses exactly the same panel, is more stylist imo, and is £280, £70 cheaper?

I realise Viewsonic have the better brand name but if its the same panel anyway....??

Can anyone advise of review locations? Google is showing nothing.

I've seen the acer for £280 and £330, so I'd imagine there are VGA and DVI versions floating around. The £280 version will likely be a VGA-only monitor.

A £70 saving would be nice if the VGA is good quality :)

Is that the Acer you guys are on about all the time?

Looks a lot cleaner/sexeh and DVI input, but apparantly its to be replaced few months time with one with HDCP.

I dunno why they just didnt include that and an HDMI input dont know maybe they dont do any research or think for 5 seconds or even wondered whats this HDTV revoloution ?

Weird....

Its only europe I think that is slow on HDCP, america has had it for ages on their monitors. Why would you want a HDMI connector on a monitor, graphics cards use DVI!

Just seen a BenQ 24" with a HDMI connector actually! :O

Soon graphic cards will include a HDMI connector :)

Might as well have TFTs that are gonna be future proof especially considering PCs are entering that era/Sony PS3 will also :)

Nice to see the price has gone up as well!! Now come on, that's just crazy pricing. Why the £20 raise again on the pricing? It was £350 last time I checked.
