As you probably would know better than me, did anyone ever do a similar mod design for the lynx. Again great console cursed by the joys of early LCDs

Yes I have an ips in my lynx :D its basically the same setup as the game gear!!

Sorry I missed this dude, something like that I guess is somewhere in the £120+ region once it's been recapped etc and is working nice without mods. The one in the really nice box that is also modded with an IPS, thats likely around £180 or so, perhaps a bit more to the right person. I'm asking £215 for my IPS modded blue genuine sports edition one - weirdly it's stuck about for a long time even though its rare and in great condition for what it is, think many have been put off by the need for a different AC adapter on it its a different size to our UK models. UK is standard size DC barrel jackand the US one is a different smaller barrel. I cant remember if its that or my Nomad but one also has a different pin polarity the UK GG is 9v center pin neg and a beefier jack, whereas both that and my nomad have a smaller jack and im pretty sure one or both were 9v center pin pos,

It was just an honest question,I didn't know about trading rules. I've just got the two of them there collecting dust,I thought maybe you could do something with them. Oh well.

Id have to look but i think there might even be a plug and play option on the mk2 there isn't on the mk1 though it's like 20 wires and removing stuff..





Here is my mk1 with an ips mod :) Another thing that does wonders on the original screens on these is a power refresh, the power circuit on these really effects the quality of the original screen and they suffer badly with power issues.

i think my next one to give some love is going to be my original GameBoy, paid pennies for it in lucky ebay win but the case is horrid and the speaker is shot i think.

Replacement case is £15 on the rainforest and then speaker seems to be a couple more quid
 
I need to read through this thread properly, seems like some serious magic going on and I've got a GG in the attic that only gets sound through headphones..

That will be your sound board my man but if its not been recapped it will be dead at this point - a fully working original GG just isn't a thing the caps are junk.

I didn't even see the post so no idea what happened. All good though bud thanks for coming and joining in regardless :) There is just no buying and selling on the forum as the members market deals with that area and is more heavily moderated etc to protect people as much as possible, you know how it is with these dodgy types on the internets :D

I have an OG Xbone,HDD removed,broken WiFi module. And an Xbox One S that doesn't power on,HDD also removed. You're not allowed to have them. I'm just telling you. And I'm not dodgy, well not entirely lol,but I am proudly trustworthy.
