We are doing another - Same as yours but with some Lipo battery mods! Exciting stuff!

Thinking the next vid has to be more on my nomad... Think im going to grab some camera stuff and things over the next few days and see if I can make some better vids :)

One of my most wanted if i was feeling rich is the Nomad, amazing piece of kit.

Be cool to see being worked on for sure :)

Finding one in good condition that works is a challenge for sure!! They are proper cool though just a shame we didn't get them in the UK so for all pal stuff to work perfect a dfo mod is sort of required. I have that and the PC Engine in need of some love and promised myself I wouldn't open up the pc engine until the nomad is done.

You'll be more impressed at the fact i was drunk,doing a number 1 and a number 2 at the same time,had my cat hassling me,and managed to type that on an ancient tablet.I also built some Wii-U LEGO when i was done. Multitasking at its finest.

Now that is impressive... what is it with cats hassling people in the bathroom? Mine do it as well and half the time they dont even want me to run the tap for a drink. They just want to stare at me while I do my business.
 
I have big fluffy rugs in my bathroom. She boxes/scratches the door until i let her in. Then she just sits in the 'chicken pose' until i leave. She won't move until i do,even it it takes.....a long time. Then to top it off she snuggles up with me in bed and absolutely cakes it in hairs. Such a pain in the ****. I have a Calico btw. White,ginger and black. Right little bit*h at times :p
 
So the USA sports edition GG has sold!! It's going back hone to the USA!! I wouldn't accept a penny less than what I wanted for it which was £215 and a dude has been hammering me trying to get me to hold it for him... I wouldn't but today he pulled the trigger...



Such a beautiful and rare original, sad to see it go but onwards and upwards!!

Oh and I said previously the USA model was different on power and today we can confirm this, USA model is 9v center pin positive where our UK model is 9v center pin neg. Put the wrong power supply in this bad boy and you gonna get smoke!!

@Tinders - everything is here buddy! Surface turned up today, screen etc yesterday so I guess over the next few days we replace another surface screen :)
 
Sorry about the dodgy packaging, I was struggling for a clean box, then I thought it’s buggered anyway so Royal Mail can’t do any worse

Not worth it tbh with the surface... I sold my spare surface charger this week actually and it was sub £10 - The surface also has a sealed charger so you wont get in without breaking it.

So the Gameboy is out of the loft and forgot how cigarette ceiling yellow it was lol.

Stripped it down and got all the buttons etc cleaned up and working again as had no input initially. Speaker confirmed knackered as headphone socket and volume control working as is contrast. Appears I have some vert lines on the left side of the panel which apparently if you just heat up the affected areas of the attached ribbon cable under the screen with a soldering iron up high, you can and reflow the areas and fix the screen???

@Vince you heard of this witchcraft?

Ive done it several times... set your iron at about 320 for this witchcraft! dont go higher than that... heat it up a bit then remove iron and hold it down with some tweezers until it cools, for the speaker put your meter across is, the GB speaker should be 8 ohms.

What's the SMS2 getting? AV mod? Looked at the possibility of this for a long time on mine, the RF only connection is just stupid

Yea its getting a proper AV mod, unlike mine which has sort of a ghetto AV mod where I just tap directly into the video and audio signals and put some phono plugs on the back :)
