noob question, this was probably answered before, but this thread is 105+ pages so sorry I have to be annoying and ask again.
On virgin's website they state that
So, I'm trying to work out the actual speeds I would get when downloading stuff. Am I right in thinking that the lowercase b means bits and not bytes, there are 8 bits to a byte, so the actual max downloads speed I'd get is
49.54 / 8 = 6.19 MEGABYTES PER SECOND!!!!!!!
Fastest I've ever got and get it most times is 5.99/6.00mb a sec, more that fast enough.
