Mine has finally been fixed and working again now.

Could anyone help me out? I'm currently on the 120mb speed and according to this page my area (Maidstone, Kent) has already been 'supercharged'. Does this mean i should be on the 152mb speed and if so am i meant to do something to activate it?

Got my upgrade less than 24hrs after requesting it.

This is wired directly to the superhub since my Asus router cant handle more then 100mbps.

Had no internet for about 5 hours between 5pm and about 10pm, no blue light on the superhub, just the amber ones. I like that I can type my postcode into VM website and it showed me that there's a fault in my postcode which is being attended to. It said ETA 4pm tomorrow, but fortunately already fixed.

Now then, compared to you guys with 160 Mb/s mine seems slow :p Though I'm due for my free 100Mb upgrade July or August. Something odd though; on my phone, I get a higher upload speed than on my laptop.

Guys looking for some help.

Have been posting over on the vm forums but feel like I am going round in circles. For a bit now I randomly get disconnected for a second or two and this resulting in 30+ t3 timeouts each time. The reply is either restart the SH or it is an Upstream fault. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Again randomly my ping will start going high 900ms+ and high latency (tbb graph will be all blue) needing another restart, as other people use the connection in my house I can't keep restarting the SH 2 or 3 times week.

Can't be a SH1 fault as have 3/4 replacements since my original problem in November 2013. (High SNR & high Utilisation)

Also feel like I am been a pain to the people over on Vm forum as the connection can be OK for 10/14 days with no problems than the above happens.

Any ideas?

Just had to ring CS over a bill issue where they'd charged me installation but I was told getting it for free. Took less than 4 minutes and it's been applied to my account, easily done.

Do you use it in modem mode?

If no then stick it in modem only mode and buy a decent router

So I've read quite few posts about VM on here, I think some of them are complaining that they don't get their maximum speed. I'm currently on 120mbps connected to a router they've provided D-Link but I don't get the maximum 120mbps just around 85-90mbps.

So question is how can I actually get the full speed of 120mbps? Also a quick question does cat6 cable really matter with just 120mbps BB, my cable is still cat5-e was thinking whether that's what holding it back plus the cable is quite old now too.

Hey guys, was wondering how long did it take your internet to be setup once you moved? Need to think of alternatives while that happens, maybe a PAYG dongle.

Which D-Link? If it's the DIR-615 its only got 100Mb Ethernet.

You'll need to upgrade your router or use the superhub in router mode to use its gigabit switch.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned but I've just gotten my free upgrade from 60meg to 100meg.

It's available by the My Virgin Media page but they don't seem to be doing it automatically. Just click a few buttons and they upgrade your speed within a few days.
