Wonder if mines picked the change up if that's the case, sales claimed they'd sent the file down whilst I was on the phone and that the hub would reboot itself but may require a manual reboot from me.
called vm again and after a long hour+ on the phone it seems they still don't have the 200 gamer code/file to send to the hubs

They do, other people have had it activated this morning no problem. For example http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/showpost.php?p=35857167&postcount=26
looks like we going to have to call yet again![]()
I've just signed up for virgin.
I'm a little confused about the 200mb = no traffic management.
I've only gone for the 50mb package but in their terms it says there is no traffic management unless you're using an excessive amount of bandwidth in which case they'll slow you down in peak times.
How much is excessive and how much will they slow you down by?
I rarely download anything but I use a lot of netflix/prime etc.
If your in a high usage area your download speed may not stay at full speed between 6 and 11 pm on average.
How much would it drop by?
As long as it's okay for gaming/streaming netflix etc I'm not too worried.
They give 14 days from installation date so I suppose I'll have to test it thoroughly.
What worries me is last year they cancelled the install because they were over capacity. They have told they've increased their infrastructure since then so hopefully it will be okay.
