Could you post the modem log page / connection info, so we can see if its on their 'new' network or still on the old one?
How do I do that bud?

I see them being to offer truly unlimited 50mbit connection somehowHave VM said if there will be a cap or not, I have heard lots of yes they will, no they won't for the past month or so on different forums.
Saying that, if they don't won't that cause a bit of a stir from everyone else on the other tiers?
also its going to be a free upgrade for xl customers.
All their other home consumer services have a cap.
If 50mb doesn't start out with a cap (to reel you in) it will have one soon after.
You'll probably get to use your full speed for about 2hrs (4Gb) before the auto cap kicks in.
reading the virgin.discussion newsgroups there has been no mention of 50 meg caps, since the very reason there are caps in the first place is to prevent network congestion which the 50 meg network will do anyway for everyone.

Until VM actually say this for themselves, I don't believe it.also its going to be a free upgrade for xl customers.
Well I got it all set up last night, the modem is sexy, but speeds are not.
Now my newsgroup provider could be limiting things, but im only getting 25meg, as opposed to 18 meg on my 20meg line.
