Virgin Media increasing broadband speeds by 20 - 200% starting February

You'll need it eventually to benefit from 8 bonding channels, which the modem doesn't support.

in your area between October and June 2013 and going as fast as they can.

HAHAHAAHAH

I live not 10 miles from Stratford, the hub of how "Awesome the UK" is 2012.

Just shows how crap the network is round here. Or more likely what a pain in the arse it is to upgrade everything, something ive been told by VM installers and techies for ages.

April - June for me :D

Really syked about doubling up :D

Moving to Virgin Media late last year was one of the best decisions ever. Only problem we've had is the wireless on the router is a bit naff. Going to replace the homeplug downstairs with a wireless plug so the wireless job is being done by the homeplug instead of the router :p

October to june 2013. Bah humbug. I'd rather they didn't advertise it if they are going to make me wait at least 10 - 18 months.

i started with virgin media around 10 years ago on the 512k broadband cable!
ive gone from
512k> 1mb > 10mb > 20mb and soon > 60mb :D

all on the same package with no extra cost :)

Sweet

March-April for me! Looks like thats the first ones to go.

They must have done the upgrades already or something at my exchange because we were the last ones in Belfast to be able to get 100MB.
