Don't you mean who thourght he was better last season? The only "people in the game" who have commented on "Who is the better player" have either said Gerrard or they could pick between them. As for im in the minority? The people on this forum make you the minority.

Lampard was rubbish before Mourinho turned up, every Chelsea supporter I've spoken to would agree with this. He was a massive let down, and some supporters found him an expensive embarrassment. Where as Gerrard has be a great player since his first kick in the Liverpool first team, and has got better and better. I can still clearly remember his first match. Gerrard is also younger then Lampard and has been playing at the top for longer. Who to say if you removed Lampard from the Chelsea team he wouldn't revert back to his previous form. In reality Lampard is no way better than Gerrard.

I haven't expressed who I think is best

So the managers & captains of every national country aren't in the game then?
He won the national sides best player award & 2nd in the WPotY based on last years performances (not last seasons, last years) & we're only 8 weeks into this year.
I'd guess he'll win more this year, more than Gerrard anyway

Terry is a more solid and consistant defender than Rio, Rio is slightly better when running with the ball tho

I guess you have a sellective attention problem JohnnyG, i stated that nobody "in the game" has stated that Lampard is a better player than Gerrard, they voted him as he played better than Gerrard LAST YEAR. Im terribly sorry for writing season instead of year in my last post. Ok who do you think is better then JohnnyG?

You seem to have missed my point.
If he played better than Gerrard last year, he must be a better player as they are still playing to the same levels, otherwise as you said Pele would still be the best player, unless you're saying that he has overtaken Lamps in the last 8 weeks?
Doesn't really matter who I think is better, I'm not in the game & just a foolish Chelski fan. But at least I can respect the fact that my opinions aren't necessarily everyone else's & am not trying to force them upon anyone

Thats your sellective attention again there JohnnyG, you need someone to look at that for you. If you read the rest of the post, i say that its too early to judge Reina as i have only seen him for 6months, it is very close between them on this seasons performances and i gave it to Cech as i know from his performance's last year that he is a top keeper where as from the little i have seen of Reina, his best performances hasn't been as good as Cech's last year.

Which Milan? Inter Milan have been interested and Juventus are looking to sign Gerrard in the summer apparently

I'll think you'll find your wrong. After the Champions League Ancelotti said that he felt Gerrard was the best player in the world and would love to sign him. As for Juve, according to the Italian press they are planning a move for him this summer, this isn't just a small article in 1 paper but big news over there; weather its true or not i dont.

Dont think so sonny.
Trust me on the Milan aspect as the minimum.
Im a Milan supporter and know practically everything about their transfers & interests.
He has said that he's an admirer and that he'd want him in the squad. But thats professional curtasy. Nothing more. & Ancelotti doesnt really have much of a say in what transfers are made, Galliani's the man who sorts that out.
Ancelotti has mentioned many players in the past, and said he's admirers of them/wouldnt mind managing them, that doesnt mean the clubs interested in him.
Until the club has made an official offer, its not interest as far as im concerned.
Juve, dont need Gerrard. And afaik, have never wanted him. Otherwise their transfer mogel wold have got him. And trust me, Juve's Tranfer bloke (cant remember his name atm), would have gotten his man. He allways does.

As for Inter, who wernt mentioned to start off with, they'll sign anyone going to try and make progress. It never does them any good though.

OK forgetting my sellective attention for a minute, this is what you've said:

How can you rate Cech higher based on last years performances when you add things like:

"Those votes were on last years performance's firstly..."
"Basically what im saying is that "Last Year" Lampard was better than Gerrard but he is not a better player in my opinion"

Accept other people's opinions may differ to yours, it'll stand you in good stead when you grow up

Yea i am a liverpool supporter. What are these variety of comments i have made about Chelsea fans, you found 1 which was a joke, surely you are not that stupid that you couldn't work it out for yourself? I never claimed that my opinions are more valid tha JohnnyG's. As for saying that only Chelsea fans think Lampard is better you are wrong again; i actually said Everton, Man Utd and Chelsea fans

which again was not meant to be a serious statement. Basically im trying to say that your talking crap
