I haven't played any of the others yet. I took my headpads off to give them a wash yesterday, and they're not dry enough to use again yet!

I have installed "car mechanic simulator" so far to give it a go.

I struggle with melee combat games, I guess because of the lack of much haptic feedback. But I played a bit of it and it seems promising. I will certainly give it some more time to impress me.

Have you tried Blade and Sorcery? Probably one of the best hand to hand combat games i've played and keep going back to playing. Pretty brutal too... especially with mods.

I've bought the Humble Bundle and dusted off the Oculus. Can any of these games be installed stand-alone on the Oculus, or do they all require Steam?

humble bundle are steam games only

you get steam keys

Not always, but mostly. They have occasionally offered Oculus keys.

Also don't forget Fanatical who sometimes have pick your own VR bundles with Oculus keys as well as Steam ones.
