@toString Have you tried the mods available for Half Life 2, to run in VR..?

there is a second version for the next chapter of that game.

it needs you to have a copy of HL2. Check also for compatibility etc.

I did not know that existed! Thank you! A lot of helpful replies in this sub!
I will probably keep busy with this and trying other games in the meantime! Ironic really as I only bought it to finally play "hl3" alyx..

For those that are waiting, Half-Life: Alyx is currently on sale for £16.99 :)

OMG.. So glad I didn't buy it for £50 on Friday :D
Thank you for the heads up!!!

Now I've set my movement up properly, and to my surprise I've no motion sickness. Using smooth glide left stick and snap turn right stick. It's a great game alright. But weird as it said something about my gpu might not have enough VRam, but I'm gaming on a 4090! Anyway I've set everything to ultra and seems fine. Question though is it possible to set the pistol to use laser pointer sight? You can on Half life 2 VR mod.

The laser sight is a weapon modification that you buy with the stuff I can't remember the name of that you collect throughout the game.

does this work for you : https://www.meta.com/en-gb/experiences/tea-for-god/6323807174332876/

i do like the fact Containment Initiative 2 is mixing PC and VR players, it'll give it a much bigger base to work from. its a neat idea

currently for what ever reason Meta wont let me purchase anything (not a bad thing as i have a large cataloge of games i dont play)

Thanks, but No, that link takes me to a game called "Tea For God".

Just bought CI 2, via Steam. In some circumstances I would prefer the Steam option anyway. Not only as the game looks promising, like the idea of Co-Op play, with my grandson at some point, but in this case the Dev is supported.

I never thought that I would soon fill up a 128GB headset so easily, lol...!

ow your looking for Containment Initiative 2
thats PC only so steam yes thats the right one. i only posted it as it was a 5key free give away so may not be on any other deals

No excuse, even had two cups of coffee, sorry my brain needs a restart. I read your post as "That is good" - meaning the game you linked above.................................Don't ask, I live on the inside and it does not make sense..!

Have you played Tea for God and do you rate it..?

na your good :) i do that all the time :D

i havent actually played Tea For God
its been on my radar a long time since it was on sidequest, my main issue is i dont have a lot of space so it wouldnt work so well for me.
when meta fix my account i might get it to try it, but doubt they'll fixe t be for the 4th sept..
others my have it thouhg so i hope they might commet on it.

@LostCorpse

Just grabbed it and spent the last few minutes trying it out. No real comment either way as yet, altho it seems to be a keeper in what I have seen so far.
The Meta being the same as the Steam version, in terms of what it has etc.

Need to do other things and also fit these...

so not had much time to play that game "Tea for Gods"

BUT it does have both room scale, real time physical movements needed, and standing only mode. I selected standing only, so all movement is then joystick controlled rather than physically walking. We do not need any more ornaments broken...! The movement is fluid, not jumps as such. Looks and plays decent, so far.

As mentioned I did not think that I would be considering the 512GB version of these headsets as being worthwhile, apart from the cost. Lol.
