I disagree, I dont think it would look any better.

If the weather stays nice might get some pics of it alongside mine tomorrow after a quick car wash :)

Almost 580bhp on one driveway with only 2 cars! :D

I raise your 580BHP too nearly 700BHP on my driveway with my two motors, though one will be departing soon. :(

Ok fair comment because after coming back from a PDI road test in a vxr220 i had a smile on my face for the rest of the day!! (just so glad it was someone elses 30k!!!!!!!!!! ;) )

They are nice mate just dont see how people live with them day after day..I mean i have more than 1 mate! what happens then?..I bought a PC about 6 months ago from OC along with monitor etc and took my girlfriend with me..In a vx i would have been stuffed!...see what i mean?? :) (upto you drive what car you like just giving you my opinion thats all..)

I could probably squeeze on the Pug 306TD and a motorbike to match you :)

Sorry these cars are useless for an everyday car. If you can get away with using one every day for work i'd be suprised. I for one enjoy going out at lunchtimes and this often entails taking a few people in my car. How are you meant to do that with a two seater?

They are weekend toys which is exactly what they were meant to be :)

i know it'd be totally cosmetic but doesn't anyone agree that the rear of this car would look so much more purposeful with 4 pipes instead of two a la Zonda?

I just thinking how perfect the car looked then I saw that daft exhaust...

I've done long trips in my S1. It's noisy, my ears ring from the silly exhaust I have on it, it's uncomfortable and it gets bloody hot. It's great fun though.

I must admit, I take the Audi for motorway trips now though.

Sure you wouldn't be better off with an S2? :p ;) :D

I hope he's removing those wheels and never ever fitting them again. Criminal :(

That front splitter looks out of place, and he's obviously grounding out on it - be better off just getting rid of that too. Other than that...nice looking car :)

Still don't agree on Turbo's on a car like a VX/Elise, but thats just personal preference. Elise + K20A Honda = ding :)

One thing I will say is I can and have driven my Pulsar round the track with one hand, leaving my left hand on the gearstick to change gears fast

I hope you weren't being serious...

I was actually lol, I drive just about everywhere one handed unless it's a tight corner :p

The VXT will have better power delivery than anything based on a VTEC style system such as the Toyota VVTI system in the Lotus as it's power comes up so quickly it's almost lagless, and it holds that power through the range.

The gearing also seems very long on the VXT. You can accelerate effortlessly from about 25-30mph to over 80 in 3rd without it even breaking a sweat

Most VVT systems dont come in until 6k so you end up with a six speed box to try and keep the revs up and make the most of the true power band.

Gibbo, what you got these days on your drive? Any pics?

Thanks.

that's just silly though isn't it?
great for track/race scenarios but road use? too much like hard work IMO.

CAnt VVT be modded to come in at 4k like Vtec can

i honestly have no idea matey but i do know the standard product really didn't appeal to me.

VVT just lets the engine carry on pulling instead of dropping off like it would without VVT, hardly makes the engine suddenly turn into a race engine. Infact that's what it's trying to avoid.
