**WANT 8GB 2400MHz FOR AS LITTLE AS £59.99 Inc. VAT? - THEN CHECK THIS THREAD OUT!!** (MV-3V4G3D/US)

Did some 2600mhz settings last night for a bit. So far done the Primary Timings as tight as possible. The others are not tuned and can come down. For ASUS users the important settings to get high mhz out of this RAM stable are transmitter and receiver slew. For these dimms set transmitter slews to 3 and receiver slews to 4.

will update this as I sort secondary and third timings.

Shouldn't need more voltage.

I could get this stuff running at 2133 10-10-10-28-1t with 1.45V on Rampage IV formula.

somewhat - be sure you up the vccsa to around 1.20V to 1.25V

should n could are two different things, depends on the batch of ram itself, cpu's imc and the mb in how well its bios supports that ram,you just got lucky thats all,avg is around 1.55v,some need 1.6v plus

I can confirm that this should definitely be your next step. Push the VCCSA up some.

I have VCCSA around 1.20V to get 9,9,9,22 1T @ 2000MHz @ 1.5v

Just had a little play and came up with 2400MHz. Want to see what raw bandwidth i can get first, before i start to tighten the timings again.

Also to add, it seems that 2666MHz was achieveable, but 2800MHz wasn't.

Now that I've hit the wall at 2666MHz, i'm going to increase the BCLK and try to tighten things up as AIDA64 gave worse results at 2666MHz than at 2600MHZ.

Anyone with a Gigabyte board getting decent speeds with 4 sticks yet?

Theres got to be something seriously wrong if its mainly gigabyte people getting stuck at low speeds. Was hopnig one of the many bios updates would solve it. But nothing for me so far.

I hope it gets sorted soon.....glad its not just me....

are you contacting msi/gigabyte and ask them to test with samsung green memory? they might send you a modified bios to try

using latest beta bios's?

Can someone tell me what is better.

I have 16gb of the Samsung memory but a friend gave me 8GB Corsair Dominator GT 1600 MHZ running 7-7-7-20 out of the box.

Will the dominators be faster than the Samsung? At the moment 8GB is more than enough.

Confused which to use... what would you guru's use

Mine run happy at 2133 9-10-10-24 1T at 1.6v on a p67a-ud5 gigabyte.

Don't ask me more i just use what people post as i am not that a expert. They work
