Why should the mods move it, I rarely venture into the PC games section, it holds almost no interest for me. I dislike reading about games/films before they are out and I've seen them. I dislike the whole thing seeing bits of the game, the best cutscenes or sequences, knowing anything about the story before I play/watch it.
In terms of watchdogs the game itself is... not bad, not great. In graphical terms we know it ran like a freaking dog, I'm interested in it graphically and had this been posted in the gaming sub I'd likely not have spotted it and not know to give Watch Dogs another try post update to see if Ubisoft finally made it playable at high settings.
It also has an impact, I would feel anyway, on future Ubisoft games. Being that Ubisoft are Nvidia, and Ubisoft are making dire games and have made profound statements as to their non commitment to PC gaming.... the news that they have actually gone back and potentially fixed some problems on a PC game is quite relevant in this sub, to me at least.
It's a bit of a shame that Nvidia has hitched it's TWIMTBP/Physx/gameworks bandwagon to Ubisoft, who seem to do less than anyone else for PC gaming these days, who keep releasing broken as hell games and keep making statements about how 30fps is the bestest and PC gamers are stupid.
This is a smallest, smallest glimmer of hope that someone at Ubisoft actually gives the slightest damn about PC gamers...... though the proof is in the pudding. Again I'd be more likely to read feedback on the update in this thread in this location.
Maybe the patch is great and fixes everything, maybe it's more BS and does almost nothing.
