Watch Dogs - Ubisoft's Third Person Shooter

Its called an opinion, respect others and I will not be playing it ever as never did fancy it and knew it would be overrated.

Yeah i know what opinions are  It just seems like some people think it's cool to **** of games and the developers instead of just trying to enjoy the games. I'll make my judgment when i play it, not after watching some compressed Youtube footage of someone else playing it

Been playing for last hour. Has the same problem as Black flag. One fps below 60 and it crashes to 30 !! Have to run D3Doverider if you want it so run without the huge jumps.

Nvidia? Vsync off ingame and setting Adaptive vsync in nvidia settings fixed frame rate issues for me in Black Flag if I remember right

There is no Demos these days so I am not buying a game to waste my time/money, YT videos are good enough to see if a game looks worth it or not.

I think you try to think to much TBH.

so keep

I wasn't saying not to watch a youtube vid to get an idea of how a game is, it just seems a bit harsh to completely dismiss a game based of a highly compressed video and saying stuff like, "wow, the graphics look terrible!! LOLZ" Assassins creed 4 was stunning on PC and next gen so i expect this to be just as nice/nicer.

Also, it's 'too much'.

Just had a quick try... first thing.. Crossfire doesn't work lol...40 fps maxed out with crossfire 60-70 fps with crossfire turned off.. im pretty sure assassins creed black flag was the same.

Next thing....**** the haters this game is gorgeous. Maxed out on the PC is looks stunning and this is without even any AA.

aaarrrgh matey ;)

hmmmmmmr lol

guy above said no crossfire, bloody typical AMD/ATI
no crossfire in this game, no crossfire in wolf, new, order.

it makes you wonder why the fk are we buying there expensive dualgpu cards and crossfire setups when stuff comes out its not optimized, as in no crossfire profiles.......
you hear devs saying this and that, you hear them say we have been working with ati and nvidia ect ect so why the hell are they down right lieing to us customers, if they where working with this company and that company then why no crossfire :/

propiganda at its best to get people to buy there ****.
arhhhhhhh makes me so furious, sorry about flame post but i just couldnt help it.

It's a Nvidia game, meaning AMD won't have had access to it to develop drivers. I imagine they'll chuck out a beta driver pretty sharpish with crossfire profiles in it.

Lets just not mention the word piracy and talk about the game since its not allowed in anyway to discuss it.

lol some of the justification people use for pirating is hilarious, end of the day its stealing whether you pre ordered or not. Will that make a difference to people having to have something now, of course not, but its amusing how much people get away with when threads get locked or suspensions handed out for much less.

Guess PC Games is the new GD

for a start I don't plan on pirating watch dogs and most certainly haven't pre ordered, I'm waiting for reviews to come. Secondly I don't think it is legally speaking piracy, piracy is a form of copyright infringement, if viewing something you paid for a week early makes you a pirate then all the people who receive their games and play them before the release date are pirates as well.

edit. is piracy really a nono subject? I get that they don't want people discussing how to crack games/sharing links and the what not but is discussion about it completely off limits?

I assume just speaking of it is fine like it is now or surely the posts would have been deleted by now.

Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with people playing it early if they have paid for the game.

there used to be a rule that you could not discuss playing a game before its official release date, same with screenshots or videos or said items.

This lead to the classic "prove you have the game early" posts with the obligatory shot of hovis as your seal of proof you were playing a game early that you legitamitley purchased.

I dont sit all high and mighty condemning the people downloading the games, i just laugh at the justification people use for their thievery. But no children or animals were harmed so i guess its ok. Its funny what people will do without fear of repurcussion behind the anonimity of their pc.

But on a lighter note lets take a serious look at piracy :)

Normally, yes. Don't know why everyone is getting their panties in a twist though thinking their all high and mighty. A nice warning, and then let a mod do their job.

Of course though, everyone here is a great law abiding citizen......
