Looks way better than GTA4! The weather effects especially, you get the dark clouds/mist rolling in in between the skyscrapers, incredible wet surface effects and puddles that stay on the ground for while when the sun comes out.
The only disappointment for me is the driving, some cars are ok but others are horribly unpredictable at speed and feel like tanks when you crash into the AI. Not sure about the skills that affect vehicle damage either, seems a bit silly. I accidentally hacked the bollards too early and crashed into them next to the enemy car which exploded but I could carry on...

They are clearly playing pirate versions. The reason it gta 4 looks better than the video you watched is down to poor compression on the video. Just see the screenshots posted to see it looks far superior to gta4.
Just watched a few of the streams and It looks really fun imo. Gonna look at getting it after all. Has the nice feel to it with games like burnout paradise and GTA where you can just drive around the city and wreck stuff. The graphics are also pretty damn nice, with some very realistic reflections especially.

I actually lol'ed at this. Comparing a modded, ENB'ed up GTA4 with Watchdogs is ridiculous. When we get ENB and mods for Watch Dogs, compare that with these screens. Vanilla GTA4, as much as I love it, does not compare to Watch Dogs in the slightest and it's foolish to suggest otherwise. And in my opinion, the Watch Dogs screens we've seen so far look superior to those GTA4 screens anyways, but that's personal opinion I guess.
I know it's "in" to bash new games no matter what, but come on, that's just silly.
After watching a stream today, I have decided against getting it. Same old boring gameplay. I was going to pick it up anyway, as I have nothing else to play, but it just isn't impressive at all to me. I think I would rage far too much if I played it...I was raging hard enough just watching someone else!

That is actually what it's like. I actually can't fathom people saying the graphics look terrible. I think from the screenies and gameplay footage I've seen it looks stunning. Each to there own I suppose.

Watch Dogs looks FAR better than an unmodded version of GTAIV, which incidentally was 1 of the worst optimised games on PC.It is a shame that everyone is getting hung up on the graphics. They are the only thing I liked about the game tbh!

Not long now ladies and gents!!
Your 780s arent enough. I run those and they arent enough. The game stutters to fill the cards when they go over 3050mb vram with 1 monitor.

Well hopefully there will be an update on/near release day, I'm not fussed about performance being rubbish on pirate copies of the game.

i hate to admit it but im actually buying this for my playstation....I need at least one game i can sink some hours into, otherwise its just an expensive paperweight
