Aaargh!...needed to quit the game for a moment whilst I did something else, so I thought I better be careful not to quit Uplay as people are having problems connecting. I quit the game and a message pops up- "Uplay has experienced an error and has to close". Now I can't get back in! :mad:

Anyone else getting a "cannot find kernalbase.dll" error when trying to log into Uplay? Grrr, its really annoying, was working yesterday.

Quite enjoying the game - its growing on me - but performance on my system is rather choppy, like to have vysnc on but doesnt seem to be triple buffering properly so its pretty much stuck at 30 fps but to be fair its playable and its pretty much maxed out except aa which is on fxaa at 1920x1200, without aa i do seem to be getting some better frame rates every now and then indoors but screen tearing is annoying and i think id rather have 30 fps d3d overrider doesnt seem to work, either way every now and then the fps will spazz out and ill go as low as the teens when it starts to get a bit choppy, is there any setting which makes a massive difference to fps but retains most of the quality? this is with newest amd beta drivers 14.6, didnt seem to make much difference going from 14.4.

was having problems with Afterburner and my cards, so now i just use the AMD OC thats built in to CAT

Nope, I have had to different errors so far.

1. You have no internet connection, try again.
2. Uplay has crashed, please read the dump log file at ..........

This is the only time I woudl condone piracy. When you legally have bought the game, but then the servers wont allow you to download it via the official channels?

Is that actually illegal? Downloading the software which you have bought the license for?

I don't know, but I'm extremely tempted to. Total joke of a service. Not having a preload was asking for this but they probably don't even care.

Had both of those errors myself too - downloaded the game while I was at work via teamviewer but now cant log on

I need to get online to add my key. Currently in the uplay has crashed blah blah etc.

I see ubisoft have still not learned from any past mistakes and that uplay is still the monumental sack of garbage it was when it first entered the fray.
