Watch Dogs - Ubisoft's Third Person Shooter

I really do not understand why Ubisoft cannot get it into them why we hate them with a passion. They make really great games I come home from work want to download and play it and I cannot even get into Uplay its a damn joke.

IM seeing the same as 14.4 so that's confusing lol.

This is maxed out with supersampling enabled I was getting 25 fps on a single card with crossfire im getting 10-15fps which is the same as I was getting on 14.4.

ahh, not just me then. Do you also keep getting an error saying Uplay has an unrecoverable error and has to shutdown? I bet the pirates didn't have this hassle playing the leaked version.
 
suprised the TB review was generally favourable.

His biggest gripes was the fact that the game is very sketchy when it comes to the police, he used an example where he can run over half adozen people on the street and not one phones the cops, then he carjacks and the npc calls the cops immediately.

He also mentions a large amount of graphics pop-in, cars/pedestrians appearing from nowhere despite large view distance etc.

He seems to enjoy the game overall especially the online aspects tho so im happy with that

Just got that when logged in and now back to not logging in. Sigh I bet you are correct and the dirty pirates have no issues.

something definitely wrong on your setup, try after running amd cleanup utility
and see if that helps
unless you already had a go,

i get at least 15fps more when using crossfire, and FPS improved a bit when i updated from 14.4 to 14.6 driver

crossfire improvement applied to both drivers


I also cant log in to Uplay atm, site & app are down :(

I'd definitely have a go at cleaning with DDU in safe mode and reinstalling the 14.6 because that definitely doesn't right. SuperSampling is going to beat your GPUs into submission on this game for sure but you should be getting more than you are on a 290X crossfire setup. I'll take a pic of my overlay, hang on.

after playing all day

7990 struggles on ultra (2560x1080)
on high i get around 40fps-60fps

however leaving chrome open really hurts my fps. my fps seems to limited by my cpu now overclocked it more (was 3.5 now 4.8)

also logging in ok now :)
 
Yes! Got invaded and just found the guy with a few seconds or spare:)

This game is actually rather good. Shame that it isn't very polished. One thing though, I seem to be picking up loads of side objectives. I hope they are paced well.

My i5 2500k is running at 4.6 atm. Any higher and games like bf4 cabbage out :(
 
Woooo unable to even access uplay as apparently I have an internet issue... either that or it crashes and is unable to recover itself :(
 
Il try with DDU but even with supersampling off I got 70 fps on a single card and 50 fps on crossfire so the negative scaling is still there.
 
Here you go Matson, GPU usage up around the 90% mark on both. This is on Ultra everything but Temporal SMAA like I said earlier. Let me know how you got on after a reinstall of the 14.6 drivers. Your crossfire should be working better now. When I run on a single 7950 now, my frames are around the 30fps mark so clearly Crossfire is working better on the 14.6 driver. Yesterday on the 14.4 drivers, when I eneabled crossfire I was getting worse frames than when I was running single card. Today on 14.6 things are reversed, much stronger now on Crossfire. But look at that VRAM being used with Ultra textures and details lmao
