Watercooled Case Gallery

wow, very nice. is it noisy with all those fans.

Thanks :). The fans are sp120 performance pwm so I have them at minimum speed (25%) for the desktop or around 5-600rpm. Then have them come up just slightly To 50% under load. They are still silent at that speed. having them at full speed only gives me 1-2c lower load temps as there is 1200mm of rads in the case :). Full speed they are far too loud.

Nice build Tyler, any tips on fitting those 980ti blocks? I just bought the same card and looking to add the EK block next month. Also did you manage to find screws that are compatible with the Evga backplate and EK block or did you add a EK backplate?

Thanks :D.

Not much advice really, blocks were very easy to fit. Just make sure to read the instructions and double check everything. Use good paste with the die like thermal grizzly or I use Gelid Extreme.

I bought the Titan X backplate for mine so Im not sure if the EVGA one will fit or not. Mine was the SC reference so didnt come with a backplate like the ACX 2.0 version.

Nice build btw :).

Hi, I Haven't posted pics of my rig for some time, in fact I think it might be a 3-4 yrs.
Any road up!! the gaming rig is whats in my sig.

I did post theses pic in the project log sometime ago,
I'm going to change the case soon, more than likely get rid of the external rad and go back to internal but then again I might not ;)

This was my first attempt at watercooling using the X360 EK kit as a base and expanded to include the 980Ti block. Kinda regretted not buying 45/90 degree fittings for that one.

EK Supremacy EVO CPU block
EK 980Ti Full water block
EK XE360 RAD
EK Varder F3-120 x3
EK DDC PWM pump
EK clear coolant
Primo advanced tubing
EK RES X3 250

Take 2: Expanded the loop to include another 360mm rad and a set of 3 noiseblocker 120mm fans.
Gave me the chance to reroute the pipes but I still forgot to order the angled fittings to go with it..
Loudest thing in my PC is the pump under load and the Varder fans which are annoyingly loud even at 800RPM, the noisblockers however are silent.
Changed the coolant to EK blood red as well.

EK Supremacy EVO CPU block

Magicool Slim G2 360mm
EK Varder F3-120 x3
NB-eLoop Fan B12-P 2000rpm x3
EK DDC PWM pump
EK Blood Red coolant
Primo advanced tubing
EK RES X3 250

Very clean build and for the pump, try putting something like down to stop the vibrating.

If there's noise from the pump it's often air in the loop. When I've taken the time to properly bleed the noise has reduced to whatever vibration I can't get rid of.
