Obviously cant use the hard drive cage attached to the rad, I have an ext radbox.

Just wondering how mase got his attached to the back. And any other tips pleez. 1st attempt at watercooling too.. (fingers xd)

Here's mine, its been running for a few months now so please excuse the dust ;)
All lighting is switchable from the front fan controller switches. (custom sflex fans)
Dual loops:
1= bay res - Laing D5 pump - PA 120.3 - Swiftech GTZ - EK R2E NB/SB - Res.
2= Ek Res - Swiftech D5 - PA120.2 - EK 4870x2 Block - 2 mosfets - res.

My productive easter weekend:

First WC project and first time at case modding (tho it was only attacking it with a dremel and cutting holes for cables / rad vents! and using 8 tins of spray paint!)
Went from this:

Very nice - Specs :)
specs are:

q9450 @ 3.7Ghz with DTEK v2 fuzion block w/quad insert
790i ultra mobo with EK NB, SB and mosfet blocks x2
2x2GB DDR3 ram @ 1850Mhz 8-8-8-22 (from 1333Mhz @ 7-7-7-20 :D)
evga gtx295 @ 730core/1550shaders/2500mem (from 576/1242/2000) with EK waterblock
MCP665 pump, 1/2" hi-flow barbs, 7/16" uv orange tubing
EK multi option res +Rads as below.
a few coolermaster and a few noctua fans,
4 12" UV lamps

vertica what rads do you have in there?

I've got a Swiftech triple rad mounted in the roof and an XSPC double mounted on the bottom.

i know the rads aren't the best in the world, but i did some calcs (being an engineering undergrad helps!) and decided that they'd suffice. They were also about the only rads i could lay my hands on in the UK at the time!

Note everything is in one loop, yet even OCd and running full load gpu temps peak at 45, SB never goes above 40 (used to hit 85 on the stock mobo heatsink!) and CPU tops out at about 55, so my calcs worked :D

And I thought mine looked like spagetti junction :)

lol, it is a bit. there are two reasons really, firstly i wanted some black coils initially, but again couldn't source them in the UK, OCUK and all competitors i rang said they had no due date but could back order them. so i gave up and just had to use more tubing and in o0ne case do a 40cm loop to go about 10cm between barbs!

The second reason was the first gtx295 block i bought developed a slow leak from the lower o ring, i got impatiant waiting for the rma to turn around, so connected the rest of the loop up, i then spliced the GPU back in.

Anyway more tubing gives more glowyness :p

thats quite a transformation haha!

you removed 2 of your graphics cards?

Yeah looks like hes replaced them with a 295 though!

yep, sold my 3 8800gtx's (yes including the one with the parcel taped cooler! - fan stopped working so was replaced by an intel cpu fan that i cut down to fit... well kinda fit lol)

combination of getting the upgrade-itch, sourcing three 8800gtx gpu blocks, the noise, heat and power consuption, drove me to sell them and get a 295 :D

fps wise performance is up (over double in furmark), power consumption is lowered (used to idle at 400W measured at the wall:eek: 680W full load, now its 220/450(cpu and 2gpu folding clients)/550W furmark. and as a direct result the heat output is down.
