Finally got round to fitting my new 7990 and extending my loop to include an external rad. I'm running a 3570k @ 4.5hz and a 7990, cooled with an XSPC AX240 (top mounted), an EK XTC140 (rear mounted), and an XSPC AX480 (externally mounted). Might be overkill, but it keeps everything wonderfully cool!

I've never fancied an external rad, but that looks great. Tastefully done

That is super tidy, coolant looks like iron bru. But how did you get your tubing so shiny?

Picture quality is bad until a new potato cam is found!

Updated the block to block connection EK HD acrylic.

Great stuff and super easy, much easier than i thought.

Fittings need a bit of a paint touch up, but with all the goodies i have had sent to me to help finish my pc workshop/media room construction, there is just no room for me to do any of that stuff now.

Looks stunning David. A few shots of my not so stunning newly completed build. First time with a custom loop so tried to keep things as easy as possible for myself by going with, a) large case and b) bay res/pump combo. A little generous on some of the tubing but have plenty of slack to move the bay res forward to top up if needed.

The messy bit around the back, tried to keep the cables around here as neat as possible. Had to put in one extra molex power lead dedicated to the fan controller after this shot was taken.

This one was taken while stressing the GPU's, hence the elevated loop temp. This morning in my cool flat it is sitting at 20C

Looks stunning David.

Thanks :)

Always best to start out with more pipe than needed than too little, you can always trim it back once you've had the loop up a while and know how you use it.

where u get them red psu cables from?
they looking very nice to me

The cables from the PSU itself are the Corsiar cable kit you can buy, they do a few colours, some of the others are coloured extension cables (4 pin/ 8 pin MB connections etc).

I think if i was to do it again i would use a 250mm tube

Still to add braided cables to the PSU, just need to decide what colour! :D

Ignore the slightly funny angle of the fitting on the pump-rad tube. It was on ok, but at a slightly weird angle. I've since rebuilt it and it's all nice and straight now :)

I have taken out the second pump and swapped to a single loop but still with blue bits.
Tidier looking but still not cool enough.
I might spray the rad to match the mobo better and get clear tubing with tinted coolant to get the colour right.

just finished setting up my first ever loop.

Its not finalized yet but nearly there, inspired by a lot of the amazing builds in this thread.
