Watercooling advice

Sending back my 6870 end of this week for testing and will be buying 6950 2GB finally :p

If I can be guaranteed that watercooling it wont void the warranty i'll stick that in the loop aswell (will be getting Sapphire)

So what additional stuff would I need for the graphics card? (to add on what I already have)

Edit: nvm, just realised you're not explaining the f.t.w thing you're saying nvidia has similair to eyefinity :p :o

That way you can run everything passively :D
 
Ah, I wouldn't get 2x 360's in the case would I?

The video guide shows its 360 top 240 bottom or something

I'll probably have PSU at top (power cable struggles to read CPU atm) so in a bigger case it'll have longer to reach so probably won't make it so would have to have 360 down bottom, and possibly get a 240 in the optical bays, or top.

I'll plan on using fans anyways as i'm spending £65 on them :p

With regards to the PSU, just get some extension cables ;)

Get much much cheaper fans. Cheapest LED fans you can and run them off a fan controller so they're just used for show.

I'd suggest also buying a top for the pump :)

All fine otherwise.

As for the EX rads, that's what I've been trying to find out myself. Tempted to buy one, test, then return under DSR!

However, have a look at the RX rads vs the SR1. The ex and RX are supposed to be the same performance.

Also, Iirc, the FC5V2 is better than the FC6
 
My thumbs are too clumsy to use the edit function!!

Just had a look at some threads on other forums, the RX seems to beexactly the same as the SR1, however, the SR is better running at up to 100rpm whereas over that the RX wins.

Don't know how true that is, I'm sure someone else will confirm.

I'm thinking of getting an ex rad to replace my sr1 as it is slimmer.

I will do some more digging, but based on what I've read so far, get the ex and some fans for push pull ;)

I seen a few people ask about EX vs SR1 but no replies :p

Whats dif between FC5 V2 and FC6? :p I asked but don't recall getting any answers

So drop to a EX360? :)

Also, I plan on putting the Rad at the bottom of the case, and PSU at top (i'm paranoid about leaks, so with it at bottom surely safer as a leak won't drip over everything, 1 less thing to go wrong I guess :))

Would it be worth putting push+pull on a rad attached to bottom of case?
