Strange. The new drive is appearing OK though, no errors, no exclaimation mark on the grey Drive1 etc bit to the left of the bars?

Might be easier if you could post a screenshot of the Disk Management window for me to take a look at - use Imagevenue or something like that if you don't have any hosting of your own.
 
Oh darm i missed the deal! I was going to order one after i got back from uni today but the offers have changed.

Bought a Seagate 320G 7200.10 last week and sold it just after a few days.
I got the one with pink glue, but it was still soooo noisy especially when seeking, this one from WD is amazing, I can't hear it at all and it's quite fast, non-RAID HD Tach avg. read is 72.2MB whereas 7200.10 is 63MB.
