Weekend Football; 31st -1st - *SPOiLERS*

Hostility? I'm a chelsea fan and it'd be an understatement to say I'm slightly annoyed that one of the worst decisions I've ever seen has lost us any chance of winning the title.

I still say like i did when Liverpool were 'cruising', they have absolutely NO chance of winning the league and to be completely honestly i still think they'll finish 3rd

Not that much bothered by the result really as Arsenal & Villa dropping points again yesterday means we're still well in for the CL spots which to be fair have been the only thing we can get from the league for a while now.

I am however disappointed yet again with the clueless way Chelsea turn attack in to defence, with all our possession any half decent team would have at least 10-15 attempts on goal, we had 3.

It was also one of the worst performances I've seen by officials this season.
Gerrard not getting booked for kicking the ball at Bosingwa or his high challenge which was far worse than Lampard's sending off then Bosingwa not getting sent off for his kick in the back were incomprehensible decisions.

maybe we will but that refereeing decision did not cost you the game, you still wouldn't have won today barring some huge bit of luck

Liverpool were not at best in some parts of game but Chelsea were woeful

Oh yea , the tactical genius of Benitez won you that game....

It was 100% down to the referee who has just lost Chelsea 2nd place

Honestly you scousers who actually BELIEVE you can win the title....

Can't wait to see United lift the cup, nice cheating by Xabi Alonso and Gerrard today, one diving and one exaggerating a tackle after HE kicked Lampard

Can't believe you're complaining about Liverpool and to get them back you want Man U to win it. What a stupid comment. I hope it's close this year and that Liverpool are in it at the end (well hope they win it if I'm completley honest).

It was a bad decision by the ref. Initially I thought it was a card but the replays proved me wrong but I saw what the ref saw at first and they dont have the luxury of replays. It was a bad decision though.

Liverpool deserved the win before Lampard went off. Chelsea have had there fair share of luck as well (Bosswinga for example).

Out of the two teams Liverpool looked the more likely to score and go onto win. Something just isn't ticking in the last 3rd of the field for Chelsea

Regardless of Chelsea winning or not, the score was 0-0 when Lampard was on the pitch.

When he went off it meant Chelsea had to lose a man in midfield allowing gerrard (who should have been sent off for his high tackle and kicking the ball at our player, 2x yellow imo) to run rampant.

It also allowed you to take a DM off in Mascherano and replace him with an AMF in Benayoun who had a significant impact on the game.

Masterclass from Liverpool's midfield today, they should be ashamed.

Oh wait scousers once We don't allow that term on here mate. Big Kev.

What a punk that ref is!

Gerrard should have been sent off for going over the top, aswell as at least two blatant dives and I only watched the game for 20 mins!

Never in a million years should have given Lampard a red, wasn't even a foul.

I'd put Gerrard right up there with Ronaldo and Drogba as the biggest cheat in the Prem.

You are quite amusing please keep posting :)

I think the sending off did make a difference. For all their posession, attempts, and movement, 'Pool were struggling to break Chelsea down.

I think it just made enough difference, although the finish by Torres was brilliant.

I would have preferred the draw, although in a way this is the better result as it means we can give the House of Scouse a good hiding next month at OT and pretty much bag the title then. :p

Liverpool are without a doubt the luckiest team around, first off the lampard decision was absolutely atrocious... Does nobody agree that most of liverpool goals are lucky deflections?

Also cannot wait till we get them to OT and bag the prize...
