Weekend Football; 31st -1st - *SPOiLERS*

Not really, he's entitled to his opinion and I know i'd be steaming if I was a Chelsea supporter and that happened.

How the likes of JG can keep their calm is beyond me, that's one of the worst decisions i've seen since the turn of the century.

I see he's suspended now, maybe he'll learn that anti-Liverpool posts aren't tolerated on these forums. [/sarcasm]

he said scum, it's a suspension. he had every right to be annoyed about the football but it is in the forum rules.

liverpool can make some ground now. Tony Adams Portsmouth are going to get thumped while West ham are traditionally a tricky little number for United.

Haha, bit harsh the suspension for calling us scum, at the end of the day all us scousers do is sign on the dole, thieve people's cars, sell drugs.........oh, and beat chelsea 2-0

Why can't we put that effort into every game? This is what I can never understand with Liverpool.

Cracking result. Got a bit lucky, but I'm so close to assassinating Kuyt its becoming unbearable seeing him on the pitch all the time.

You're having a bubble I was furious:p
Luckily for me fury usually dissipates by the time it gets from my brain to my typing finger;)

So what are your predictions for the final top 5? In Order.. Imo it will be:

1:Man U
2:L'Pool
3:Villa
4:Chelsea
5:Arsenal

Not a chance here, i've often come on here and had a right rant after an abject or poor-officiated United performance.

I guess given your position you can't really let fly though. :D

Astonishing levels of hostility on this forum at times, anyone would think we were on the brink of international warfare rather than a football game.

I hate the way Gerrard dives, he does it quite often. But I am in no way going to single him or Liverpool out for it, every single team in the premier league has players that cheat. There is no team in the league which doesnt do it, so its hypocritical at best to single out a single team.

I dont think for an instant that Lampard deserved to be sent off, imo it was no way a red card offence. Having said that I do think that Liverpool looked the more likely to score, for some reason Chelsea just didnt seem to be firing on all cylinders today.

Utd still have a significant edge in the title race, but Liverpool have bought themselves a little more time. I do think Liverpool potentially have the ability to win the league this year, its certainly their best chance yet. Whether they will ultimately go on to win it though is yet to be seen, a lot can (and will) happen in the remainder of the season.

For the record, I am a Liverpool supporter.

I actually do become weary of united's ability at times, they have shakey games where they just scrape a lucky 1 goal win, and other games where they slaughter the opposition. They really worr me at times.

Well, what a disappointment, there was very little football played and all of that that was, was played by Liverpool.

Thought Alonso, Gerrard and Alex were the only players to do things in that game and Reina won't have an easier day at the office.

Awful decision by Riley, particularly as it was a perfect tackle and if there were any foul commited it was by Alonso, but these things happen. I admit I was hoping for a red card for Gerrard and one for Lampard before the game, Gerrard could/should have had one within 5 minutes for smashing the ball into someone on the ground a'la Delap and Lampard did get one, so meh.

Two very poor goals to give away, but Liverpool did deserve it just because they kept going.

I've got tickets to the United Liverpool game, so i can't wait for that. 5 Games till then just gotta hope that United continue with their great form and win the points.

They way Liverpool pressed today was incredible, I guess that's what the likes of Masch and Kuyt bring to the team if sod all else.

No idea how Lampard's challenge was a red and then Gerrard's, minutes before and no where near the ball, wasn't even worthy of a yellow. Ridiculous.
