Weekend Football; 31st -1st - *SPOiLERS*

Jesus christ, thats the 3rd time now, he hung on to Henry for a year to long, he had a crap year and we went from a 30mil price to 16, Vieira, a year to long a crap year and he went from 30 to 15mil. Ade, 30mil, was an absolute joke, he was never worth more than 8mil, while Henry and Vieira at their best were worth more and we doubled his salary and he'll be worth maybe 30 quid when we look to sell him on in summer this time.

Ramsey is our only offensive player on the bench, so Ramsey for Ade, Vela/Rvp upfront, its what we need but will never happen.

How awful is the decision not to sell him in the summer, and use the money to buy a Villa, Ashley Young or someone actually world class looking now. Wengers worst decision by a massive margin. Hell, we could have sold him for 30mil and gotten Zamora for 5 and probably had a harder working player who could score a similar amount :p

we could have done a ridiculous amount with that money to be fair, anything, to be fair I think Flamini was gone before it was apparent people wanting to through money down the toilet on Ade, but frankly we should have offered Flamini more anyway.

Hell flaminin on circa 20k a week, ade was on 40k, we wouldn't give flamini a fair amount and we bumped Ade up to 80k, the most ridiculous thing I've seen.

I love what Wenger DID for the club, i loved how he HAD us playing years ago, I love how good a manager he WAS. But I can't simply support the guy based on the past, he's not the same man at all.

Hell in our best years he sold off our best players when the money was good, Henry, Overmars, Petit and the likes, even thats changed. if arsenal really had money issues, which I don't believe at all, he would have sold him and bought someone cheaper, infact that always USED to be Wengers way. 5 years ago he would have sold him in a heartbeat and brought in a few kids and cheap bargains.
 
Diaby seems in pretty bad pain, hmm, replay, snapped his ankle over maybe? was that his bad ankle, can't remember which it was.

EDIT:- we're desparate for a goal, so we bring Song on, rather than Ramsey, has wenger made a good substitution in the past 3 years, even one?

not all bad today then, but 5 points off the top 4 only made less bad by Villa not winning(as yet), still pretty terrible.

Utterly pathetic, our "cover" players in Diaby, Denilson and ok song was only not bad today because he didn't get the chance to be, but they simply aren't good enough to even be cover, let alone start. Adebayor never gets dropped despite doing nothing game after game after game. Even his "good" games, is 7 seconds of fluke taking credit of others hardwork. I'm not sure he's put in a single game where he's good for more than 15 minutes and lazy and crap in the rest.

Bring on our only really goal scoring threat, and don't play RVP in the position from which he's been scoring all year?? Bring on Song when we're desparate for a goal??? Take of Bendtner despite the fact he provided Ade with ANOTHER tap in and Ade screwed it up. I think we have the squad to be much better than we are, but Wenger picks the wrong team week after week after week.

It looks almost certain that we are picking up an expensive attacker, when were still desparate for a DM which we seem to almost certainly not be even going after in the transfer window.

Uefa next year is looking more and more likely.

Are you sure? I thought Flamini was on 40k and wanted it doubled?

But aye, the point still remains that he bumped up the wrong player's wages while losing somebody who excelled in two positions (LB and DM).

Edit - eh? Have we got Arshavin then? :confused:

Pathetic again, not sharp or fast enough, just passing it around slowly doesn't create chances. Hopefully we sign Arshavin who can give us a kick up the ars!
