Weekend Football; 31st -1st - *SPOiLERS*

0-0 didn't make a single good chance not good enough and the worst thing Southgate keeps his job and we are relegated

Only good thing is Brad Jones finally played well

Four draws today and Liverpool weren't even playing! ;)

Tim Cahill and Marouane Fellaini both start for the Man Utd vs Everton game.

I've been watching things for my beloved team go slowly downhill for a while now without too much to warrant a panic, but now I can safely say alarm bells are ringing.

I don't just blame Wenger though, he must know things aren't right. Just because he acts like things are fine, doesn't mean anything. You have to trust your team and your players and take it a whole season before doing anything drastic.

Wenger is still an intelligent man and I believe if come the end of the season we don't pick up 4th, he'll take drastic measures.

Jesus christ, thats the 3rd time now, he hung on to Henry for a year to long, he had a crap year and we went from a 30mil price to 16,

The problem is now henry is showing what he is worth at barca the guy is having a great season.

Arsenal well I dont know they try to pass it into the goal all the time and ade doesnt shoot unless he is stood on the line.

You need some one that can actually run with the ball upfront and attack and not be afraid to do some work to get a goal. I dont think ive seen ade do that much (dont watch many arsenal games).

Disappointing draw vs Wigan, but looking at the bigger picture, we can't complain - 2 pts off the top at this stage is dreamland, and to be honest, I can't seen Arsenal bridging the gap too easily the way they are playing.

I'd love to agree with you. However I have doubts we have the money there. Wenger's an economist, yet for some reason isn't realising in time that not getting into next year's Champion's League is going to hurt us immensely. One of the board members said it wouldn't, but it's obvious we're scraping by already. Our wages match or beat the current top four. If we don't get into it next year, where is the money to buy new players going to come from? Playing so much inexperience isn't working and I'm certain Wenger's resorted to clicking his fingers in vain.

Also as much as Man UTD fans sometimes winge about having Giggs and Scholes, Fergie seems to realise it's absolutely necessary to have them. They've been there and done it before. They know what it takes to win something. Additionally they're vital experience for the youngsters in terms of the raw playing of football. It's no coincidence that e.g. Cesc's abilities sky rocketed when he had Viera and Gilberto to learn from. Now he's the senior player, he's just not been developing any more.

No, I re-emphasise what I say above. Because Flamini was so good our team was able to attack freely a lot last year. Adebayor still missed his usual hatful of chances every match, but eventually scored a number of tap ins. That is how he eventually tallied up 30 goals last season.

Jesus wept, linesmen need to familiarise themselves with the offside rule. How many blinkin' times has Ronaldo been wrongly called offside recently when he was onside?

Hi there,

Apparently that's not entirely accurate - there was a piece on the BBC website with Wenger saying how Arsenal declare all the wages and whatnot, whilst other teams conceal the true extent of their wage bill. I can't see Arsenal's wage bill being massive (compared to other top teams) as they haven't got anyone on crazy money...

Hi! :D

I think it is - I'll try and find the source in a second. We have a lot of players on medium->high wages.

This dates slightly old wages. But if you think that e.g. Walcott and a few other players have been offered contracts, and e.g. Adebayor has had a huge increase well.

Yeah, Neville is having a bit of a mare. Rest of the team is playing well though. Everton play some good football but we're comfortably on top so far. Just need the goals to cement it.

im sure you watch different games to everyone else.

Park is all over the pitch, as he is almost everygame.

Park gets the ball, and runs it in to touch, or plays it sideways.

Great.

One in every 5 or 6 starts, he has a half decent game, other than that, i wouldnt be bothered if he got crushed in freak accident involving a rhino, a adventurous breeding program at a nearby zoo, and malfunctioning doors on a cargo plane.
