Weekend Football; 31st -1st - *SPOiLERS*

1905: It's official. The 72 minutes are up and Edwin van der Sar has beaten Death. The United keeper reaches 1,104 minutes without conceding a league goal, beating the previous mark set by Reading's Steve Death in 1979.

Many congrats to Van De Sar. That's an epic record, and not conceding for this long is true Championship form. :(

On another note, Caroline Cheese fail's again.

Sweet :D

Whoever loses tomorrow between chelsea and liverpool is going to struggle to get back into the title race.

Thats IF there is a loser, for me the worst possible result would be a draw. If Liverpool and Chelsea draw, which lets face it is highly likely, then Utd would have a 4 point lead plus a game in hand, so provisionally a 7 point lead over everyone. Utd very rarely give up a 7 pt lead, so you could almost say that a liverpool/chelsea draw tomorrow and the title is utds.

The reason why thats the worst possible result for me is that its been a decent exciting tight season so far at the top of the table, and I kind of would like that to go right to the end, I fear though that Utd getting that kind of a lead would make for a dull and predictable end to the season. Though at least the bottom of the league looks like it will continue to be exciting til the end.

Carrick was absolutely top in that match.

x100

Great match, long may this form continue. These last two matches we've looked a lot more threatening. Congratulations to Van Der Sar for the record, he may not have made hundreds of saves during these last few months, but he's organised a defense that has changed multiple times due to injuries and given the players in front of him confidence. :) I'm really glad Brown is back because Gary Neville showed today that he's easily targetted, all Everton's attacking in the first half came down that channel. 5 points clear with Chelsea and Liverpool facing each other tomorrow, it could prove to be a very good weekend if it ends in a draw tomorrow.

Very happy with the Fulham result. We should have scored more than that too, Bobby Zamora had a very off game today, but hopefully get a new signing in as a backup for him anyway. Overall great game :D.

Carrick was immense ( on the day I bought a shirt with his name on the back :D) - but it was a truelly nail biting match, Everton never really threatened but they where still far too close on some occasions

congrats to VDS, really deserves it, and IF Utd win the league this season its really down to him and Vidic above everyone else imo

Next up is West Ham at UP, a bit of a bogey ground for Utd recently.

AV and Arsenal dropping more points today, tomorrow's match will be very interesting indeed Im not entirely sure if a draw is as good as made out for Utd, but cant work out who I want to win either
