Completely agree, Liverpool fans on here seem good (as with most of the posters on here) but I just get more crap from Liverpool fans irl than I do from any other team's supporters. They go on about their trophies when they're a distant memory, I dread to think what would happen if they actually won it in present times. :p

I would have thought for the interests of a continually competitive and exciting premier league people would generally want someone other than United to win it. Just to keep the league fresh, I mean we dont want a Celtic/Rangers situation in the EPL surely? Maybe I am just too reasonable and polite a person for these tribal sports :)

Utterly despise liverpool (Don't mind Everton tho), just something about the team and supporters I really hate.

And Gerrard, is a horrible little scouser, but that's a given :p
 
Hail macheda, i gotta admit when he came on, i had no idea who he was (must pay more attention to youth teams and reserves) but what a goal, i was in my local pub surrounded by liverpool fans who where taking the mick at 2-2, when he scored i danced round the bar like a loon, i think its gonna be a very exciting finish to the premiere league this year.

Almost everyone I know is a Liverpool fan. The other 3 people in my household are Liverpool fans.. it's horrible :(

Why the **** are you a Villa fan then?

I used to buy my little bro a Liverpool shirt for his birthday every year to make sure he became a Liverpool fan. I wasted my money really as if he didn't support Liverpool my Dad would dishome him anyway.

I was born in the midlands, my grandad supports them and the first game I ever went to was Villa v Chelsea when I was about 6 so I guess that's when I started supporting them :)

I hope to god he doesn't go. O'Neill will drag in some youngster and wait for him to develop, and we can't do that any more. As much as I admire him for getting the best out of certain players, we're not in a position to wait around any more.
 
O'Neil and Barry have made it clear that his future rests firmly on you getting 4th, which i still think you've got a chance of. I know it's going to be difficult but Arsenal still have to play us and Utd away and Chelsea at home.

Anyway, after the season Alonso has had we may not be in for him this summer. However with Gerrard now firmly being a '2nd striker', there could still be room for another cm.

Yeah as a neutral I'm in the same boat. It's purely down to the people I know and how ****ing unbearable they will be.

Where as with Manu fans everyone has become so used to it they don't even brag and celebrate it.

Anyway I fancy Wigan to go down next year ;)
 
+1 to the Liverpool fans sentiments.
Some good lads on here but the majority of the ones I speak to and hear on places like radio phone ins really have a massive chip on their shoulder, they simply can't bear the fact that somone else is nicking their silverware for a change.

The support is overwhelming, I really can't remember a time when fans of different clubs have wanted us to do well, domestically or in Europe :D
 
That was a vital win for United and perversely I think the way in which it was won could be the thing that finally kickstarts our season. We didn't play well but that game wasn't about ability it was about putting their nuts on the block and toughing it out. Would Liverpool have coped with half their first choicers missing? Would they have gone for the win with a teenage strike partnership? We were rubbish but it didn't matter because the team believed. 7 games from the title, now's the time to push on. And we've still got all these palyers to come back :-

Berbatov
Scholes
Ferdinand
Vidic
Rafael
Anderson.

I've a load of Liverpool supporting mates who've been larging it for the last 2 weeks, it's been long enough. Time to bring them back to earth with a bump.
