Weekend Football Thread 31-2 *spoilers*

there is no question the ref assisted you last weekend in the more serious decisions (Carragher, Torres falling over himself, free kicks), one good goal scored and at least one penalty over looked

On the other hand Utd didnt create enough to deserve anything other than penalties (apart from the Owen chance at the end) - I will give you that

Yes Frank you came out with some nonsense about Utd deserving a penalty (which you didn't) last week too but iinm you managed to accept that we deserved to win.

If you prefer I can edit my last post to include you with Tute (deluded not a troll btw :))?

From what I've read it may be that Degens card gets recinded as (a few posts up) it wasn't a dangerous tackle.

Carraghers I have no idea about.

Baz, would you rather I just told you what you want to hear?

Because it strikes me that if you hear something you don't like, you're straight on your high horse.

Funny things, opinions. Everyone has one. Just because I don't follow the other supporters on this board like sheep, doesn't mean i'm any less wrong. In fact, I think most just tell you what you want to hear to shut you up. :)

LOL Liverpool fans are a funny bunch...heres a pic for the liverpool fans

You're not wrong because you don't follow what others say, you're wrong because you come out with total nonsense.

You tried to claim that Reina ran into Vidic when Vidic took him out, you tried to claim that Kuyt turned into Vidic when Vidic literally dived across Kuyt's path. That's nothing short of bs and you know it.

Not to mention other posts from yourself in this thread designed purely to get a reaction. You're a troll.

edit: btw, I'm not the only perosn that's pointed out you talk **** either. But as you say, just because everybody says 1 thing and you the other, that doesn't make you wrong :)

Actually I said that they ran into each other. Also Vidic's second yellow was nothing like Carragher's. For starters, I didn't see Vidic executing a perfect rugby tackle on someone clean through on goal.

Not really - it's up to you if you decide to react or not. I was simply pointing out how Liverpool struggle when decisions don't go their way. You're the one who dived in all hostile.

I hope you're not referring to Cheets/Pigeon.

[Edit] Also, are we just going to trot around in circles over this? Because I can't be bothered. I say something, you say the opposite. You're not going to get me to agree with you.

How does that sum up Man United who they mullered 2-0

Liverpool are in mid table team form, the fringe players are gash, getting rid of Rafa will do nothing, the half of the squad is mediocre.

Year on year the other big teams make the same mistake of beating Manu and losing to mid table and lower teams while Manu show more consistency over a season. I've lost count of the number of years Arsenal or Liverpool or chelsea have been able to beat Manu but not beat them to the title.

As for Liverpools fringe players being gash, well this is the worst Manu team I can remember for quite some time especially with quality in depth.

Liverpool just over performed last year and normal service has been resumed. Theres going to be loads of losses for the team that wins it this year. None of the sides are great.

If Benitez did decide to walk, I really am not sure who would be a feasible replacement.

Kevin Keegan.

Ok. I'll put you on ignore because I don't like people that are wrong....I mean that disagree with me :)

Tpday wasn't so straight foward. Fulham are a reasonable side at home and going there with 11 first team players out injured wasn't going to be easy. Add to that decisions like Kuyt made for Fulham's 2nd and a terrible decision to send Degen off, it was almost inevitable we'd lose.

There's certainly an element of us over performing last season but we've had incredible bad luck this season. We've had numerous decisions go against us throughout the season, including 2 freak goals which shouldn't have stood. The amount of injuries and to which players we've had has been a bit of a joke too.

Man - let's get over all this bitching & talk about football.

Strange first half there - I can't remember the last time I saw Rooney so absent & out of form. I never thought I'd say it - but I would consider bringing him off & changing things up front.
