Weekend Football Thread 31-2 *spoilers*

I have a feeling Arsenal will be made to rue the 2 points dropped against West Ham. They could have actually gone top today before the 3PM kick offs, would have been a big psychological boost.

Chelsea look way too good at the moment and Man U are grinding out the results.

Was it last week where he recieved the ball outside the box, turned and drilled it over the keeper and home?

The entire movement from receiving the ball to it leaving his foot just looked so fluid.

lol Harry saying Fabregas' goal wasn't a good goal. He creates a myriad of chances every game as well as scoring

Edit - Why can't they just concede Arsenal are a good team in good form, Spurs' squad is no where near Arsenal's, where is their Fabregas, Van Persie, Arshavin? They have Modric who I'd rate as about the same as Rosicky

It wasn't a good goal to concede. I.E. There is no way he should have been able to do it. Lazy kick off and poor defending.

King was useless today. Not something I have to say often, but he was brutal.

Touche it wasn't a good goal to concede but none of the Spurs team could have replicated that goal and Arsenal wouldn't have been so slack. It seems like people nullify the goal and forget it was Spurs who were so poor, not a freak accident, they just make mistakes which top teams can't do so it can't be discounted

Also, Arsenal had been pressurising very high up the pitch all of the first half and it paid off here, it was excellent work and it shows how hungry and alert the team are at the moment, Arsenal deserve as much credit as Spurs do criticism

Indeed. Arsenal were very good. Jenas was the only highlight from todays match for me. Gomes was hard done by conceding 3 goals. There was nothing he could feasibly have done for them, the defence left him exposed.
