Weekend Football Thread. *spoilers* 22nd-24th

Diaby again, but Eduardo did all the work for the first, Eboue did EVERYTHING for the second. Diaby is one lucky SOB, two utter tap in's but brilliant build up/assist work. Eboue almost set up another again, from right back and is playing superbly with a couple great tackles and interceptions.

Now that I've seen the game, what a load of **** you talk. Diaby's 1st goal was a great finish, nothing like a tap in. And all Eboue did for the second was cross it, it was Eduardo who did the important work. Take your blinkered specs off will you, it's verging on trolling

Vidic the dirty *** - going to get away with it again. How many times can somebody get away with being plain outright dirty. A good defender but he cheats his way there in my books. He deserves a 3 match ban for that - rodallega reacted just like any normal human being would - and vidic denies doing anything.

When are the FA going to clamp down on this sort of behaviour - its funny on MOTD they slammed Rodallega for his reaction - and only mention Vidic got away with it - why arent they highlighting the fact that he hit rodallega and slamming him.

Its the same old stuff again - anybody from the big 4 will just get away with it, just like Stevie G for his nightclub incident. Its an absolute joke.

I honestly can't see enough in the replay to tell what exactly happened, but Rodallega's reaction was terrible, can't believe he got away with raising his arm to the referee. Also his sliding into Foster a few minutes before was completely unnecessary.

In fairness to Rodallega I think he was trying to pull out of the slide into Foster. Vidic and the other defenders reacted angrily to it and I think the incident after was Vidic trying to seek a bit of revenge.

I agree that his reaction afterwards was terrible though, was lucky not to be sent off.

Rodallega slid in but didn't raise his studs and tried to pull away, foster just carried on, why did vidic have to get involved? He threw his right arm out and hit him in the face, it's plain as day and intentional. He's just a thug, plain and simple, if it was Rooney the press would be all over it. Ferdinand is never like this, he has become a model professional considering he was a bit of a prat in his youth!

Although I go agree I actually thought he was ok today, gave away one bad free kick but generally didn't embarrass himself too much. With Rafaeal, Brown, O'Shea and Fabio as an option on the right though, he should never be playing.

Yes, I appreciate all that Nev's done for us over the years but in reality he's fifth choice for rightback now. O'Shea or Brown for when you want a bit of experience or one of the twins when you want a more attacking option.

I haven't read through the whole thread and to be frank, can't be arsed. All I want to know is, did Cheets64 take it well?:D
