Weekend Football Thread. *spoilers* 3-5

When I get bored (which is a lot lately) I do tend to stray towards the forum that is RAWK, they do seem to be holding on to the fact that Aquilani will be some sort of messiah and reverse the creative problem in the centre.

Liverpool fans have a record of attempting to turn corners and being widly over optimistic about their chances, in my opinion. So, maybe some of you may be able to say is Aquilani the final piece of the jigsaw (:p) is he that good?
 
Game was ok, I can't see anyone except Chelsea winning the title this year. So very strong all over the pitch except drogba ;)

I still stand by the comments I made about liverpool being the team that will be the ones to drop out of the regular top 4.
 
Aquilani was correct, what did I type? Did I miss an 'I' and add an 'O' ?

I'd say that's a typo.

We responded well to our utterly useless performances in the last 2 games, needed to really or self doubt might've crept in.
Hilario had a good game, he isn't the best 'keeper going but he's never fazed by any situation he finds himself in.
I don't think there's another player in the PL who gets caught in possession and loses the ball as much as Deco does, he's just not strong enough for the English game.

Is Lucas really Brazilian?
 
Thought Liverpool played well and the game could've gone either way for me until the first goal, but in the end it all reflected the current state of play for the two teams, so no complaints really.

Especially against Wigan and EOPL Nicosa ( I'm sure I got the capitals wrong there.)

But, saying that, Chelsea are still favourites, depending how well you cope with the African Cup of Nations.
 
Chelsea lucky to win today, Liverpool could have been two up at half time but for poor finishing and good goalkeeping. To their credit though, they took their chances that came up and we created few chances and didn't take them.

Oh and Drogba is a disgrace. That's all I have to say on that matter.
