Newcastle have been dire, was really just a training session for most of the game, could easily have been so much more
So so easy. Newcastle really do deserve to go down. Had we got out of first gear it could have easily been 5 or 6.
Another red card for a challenge on Alonso; really hope his injury isn't serious.
That was 10x better than they were vs us at St James.

Far too easy against a team that should be fighting for survival. Game was as good as dead after the second goal went in.
Duff and Harper were the only two players that looked half interested but both were outclassed by an on form crossbar.
Thought Alonso put in his best performance of the season and he was very unfortunate not to score twice. Will reserve judgement on the tackle until I've seen it a few more times but hope he isn't out for any length of time.
Nice to win another game without relying on Torres or Gerrard. We've become more of a team since beating Madrid.

to be fair they are no worse, nor better. Redknapp had a good team to start off aswell as spunking some what £35-40mil in january, Shearers simply got to deal with the crap team that was there before. I wouldn't go blaming Shearer nor assuming he's useless. Some clubs a manager can come in and get much more out of players who are underperforming. IN Newcastles case they simply have a lot of complete has beens that can't get better.
Even more injuries meaning he's got Barton, Smith, Viduka to rely on, all useless overpaid non footballers for years who a certain useless manager bought in all on huge wages for what they are. Alladyce is still the reason Newcastle are going down, the transfer money and the wages spent on entirely different players could have been the difference.. The question is why did Alladyce hate Newcastle so much and shouldn't someone have checked if he hated them before he was hired.
If I was a blackburn fan i'd be insanely worried right now, should you stay up and Newcastle go down there will be budget priced transfers available on Barton, Viduka, Smith and Butt, and theres one manager who you know likes them.
