Cheers Baz, doesn't really seem to be much of a difference between positions then. The team that finishes bottom and is relegated gets £29.1m and top spot gets roughly £39m. What were the details for the most recent changes taking place next season or thereafter?
Rafa's said that Alonso's only suffered bruising and should be ok for next weekend. Masch and Torres should be ok too
edit: and Barton was the 6th player to be sent off for a challenge on Alonso.
Get over it.Yet Alonso is the only player to hold the record of getting a player sent off by kicking them.
Get over it.

How about no? Won't don't you try getting over yourself?
Newcastle need to go down to regroup, they need to go down, offload all the garbage players they have, get some youth in, get some solid dependable workman like players in the spine of the team and build the "club" back up.
Staying up will do no good, it will just prolong the inevitable.
*Edit* think about it, they have no debt, they will be able to slash the wage bill, and can put all the right things in place to start over again in the prem.
