Weekend Football Thread *spoilers*

I thought he'd been pretty good tonight, but he has that annoying habit of giving senseless fouls away

maybe not his worst night, but for instance in the first half he couldn't even run straight n lost the ball in his feet. its players like him and silvestre that infuriate me in big clubs. just completely below par for a team such as arsenal. just look silvestre then, turning his back n the ball hits him on it, he done it the other week.

Bet Barry wished he stayed at Villa

LOL i was thinking the same...must pain poor Barry to see Aston Villa in the top 4 now whereas his new team are currently floundering in 6th place...i mean theres not a lot in it and i think City have done the right thing in getting shot of Hughes as its better to do it now than wait till end of the season because the way they are going they wouldnt have made the top 4 this season.

Saying that i hope Mancini falls flat on his face as well...not a fan of teams that just throw money everywhere to get results ie Chelski and now City altho have to say that Chelski have calmed down quite a bit in the past yr or so with their stupidly high spending....rumours are that Aguero from spain wants to come play for them...wonder if they will buy him??.

Forest 3 - Preston 0

Quality performance, great for the watching masses, and reds fans like myself not feeling like freezing their nads off down the ground tonight:)

3rd in the table, up the reds:)

Haha, that judas can stay there. He won't care as long as he's paid a mint a week, he could be at Rochdale and not care, as long as he got his £120k/week

Your right we are doing well enough without him, The big game is the coming bring on Arsenal, can we beat the last remaining member of the big four.

Mucho lollage at Hughes getting sacked...ive been saying all along that he will be the first to go...i had a feeling he was about to be sacked when i heard rumours of Hiddink cominbg to Man City but obviously its Mancini whos coming to City now...have to admit im not surprised but this is what you get when you get takeovers by Billionaires who are far too impatient to let a manager do his thing ie Chelski were the worst for this.

Lollage at Man Utd and Liverspuds both losing today...thought Portsmouth did a superb job on Liverspuds...and Man Utd got their backsides handed to them by Fulham 3-0:eek:.

Now all i need is Arsenal to take 3 pts and again its another decent weekend for us but im not holding out much hope for Arsenal because the simple fact is that we keep dropping points against teams we should be spanking week in weekout.

Just read on BBC that Redknapp is to face proceedings over some tax issue...that fella is possibly the most dodgiest manager i have ever seen in football...Dodgy 'Arry:p

Get off your high horse, you should be spanking teams week in week out, since when the Untouchables, your team is half as good as them.

If Chelsea win tomorrow go 8 points above you :D

Liverpool now 8 points off the pack, let alone top spot. Absolutely got to stop the rot or Rafa is definitely gone come the end of the season (And rightly so). Question is, will there be any money to spend in january? Because we desperately need it.

I wouldn't trust Benitez with £5 pocket money. Apart from Torres his buys have been shocking.

Reina, Agger, Insua, Johnson, Riera, Benayoun, Alonso (good buy overall), Mascherano, Aquilani (remains to be seen i guess) Torres, Ngog (and a few ive missed) are all good (or great) signings, so lets not be dramatic about it.
