Why have you listed Aquilani in the list of good/great signings while saying yourself it remains to be seen if he's any good.

Yup, we're looking really good at the minute. Just annoys me how we've played 3 of the big 4 and won all 3, yet lost to Wigan, Blackburn and West Ham, all relegation battlers
I agree dont understand it, we could be even higher, still lets not complain we are right up in the mix.

You've listed Lucas twice, who is actually a decent player (although still needs plenty more experience). Ngog is an excellent young player who you've clearly never watched if you dont think he's any good. Voronin and Degen were frees, Kyrgiakos was only 1.5m. I agree on Babel and Dossena, but I doubt anyone can say they wouldnt have taken Babel when we signed him.
Well to be honest mate, your squad quality reflects on your league position. Points tend to tell the truth.

It's pretty much the same team that finished second last season.
More or less the same squad finished 2nd last season.
Well then, where does the blame lay? I've always said that Benitez is much better coach than a manager. He won the Champions league with Houliers team. (mostly)

More or less the same but one of the few changes had big repercussions IMO. Alonso left and hasn't been replaced really as Aquilani doesn't seem able to play. An error on Benitez's part IMO because he knew his injury record.
