Weekend Footy Spoilers

Yay another good win for us today, looks like Raffa has finally told them that the 2x posts with the net is called the goal, and that they need to get the ball into it. :D

8x Goals in 2x games, bugger me  , next Birmingham. :D

Well full credit to Liverpool for the first two goals, they took full advantage of our daydreaming defense. I thought Given should have coped better with the first goal though, he jumped off the wrong foot.

I thought we should have come away with a point from the match
and the ref should have been wearing a red shirt.

Boumsong needs to take a long walk off of a short pier.
I have no argument against the penalty but the situation should never have arisen. Everyone makes mistakes I'll admit but not that kind of school boy error from a supposed French international.

As long as the scoreline stayed 1-2 I thought we were in with a chance but after that what could we do.

I was going to complain about Ameobi falling for the offside trap 3 times in as many minutes during the first half but it payed off in the end ;)

I was impressed with the side, even with 10 men we played like we wanted the ball, the last 10 minutes we kept the pressure on even though we couldnt do anything with it. Makes a change from the side last week that just rolled over and died (or should I say bent over?)

I don't think the score reflected the match, I'm very interested to see what Vandle has to say. Well done Liverpool and bring on Chelsea on Wednesday, should be an interesting game if we can play with the tenacity of today. We need to tidy up the defense and sharpen our attack but I don't think the FA cup is out of reach :)

Fulham 1 up. Luis Boa Morte with the goal. Some how Terry got away with another 100% certain penalty against him. What does Terry have to do to get a penalty against him? Kill some one?

SWP and Cole off. Apparently SWP didn't make a mistake moving to Chelsea having played in 34 games. Of course he's only started 14 games out of a possible 40+. He has only himself and his father to blame.

What had he or Cole for that mater done in 25 minutes to warrant being taking off. I'm all for making changes, I for one believe it's one of Wenger's weakness' but 25 mintues isn't enough time, they certainly hadn't done any worse than Lampard etc. Havin' a Giraffe.

Behave, that was no penalty.

No idea how Volz didn't get a card though.

Well it was either 100% pen or a booking. Terry made no contact with the ball, and made contact with the player. Volz admittedly went down easily, but it was still a pen imo.

Was never a penatly, Terry's leg didnt come close to touching him.

Good win for Liverpool today, performance wasnt great but 3 points were essential.

If there was any contact between the two players it was after the challenge, after the ball had gone and it was Volz throwing his leg forward so he could go down.

Definitely not a pen. As I said, don't know why he didn't get booked.

That's the best performance i've seen from any team this season so far. Fulham have been superb although the goal was very lucky.

Crazy substitutions so early in the game from Mourinho! I think they'll come back to haunt him when Huth gets sent off in the 2nd half. ;)

Does anyone else get the feeling that everything is about to go pear shaped in the future for Chelsea?

He seems OK with the situation:
"I am settling in more and more each time I play and getting more and more settled with the surroundings. I am just hoping to improve every time. The stamina is there, it is just getting my game sharpness at the spot I want it and that comes with playing games, which I have been recently.”
“It is a case of adapting to the formation. You know that if you are on one side of the pitch and the ball is on the other, you become the second striker. Once you get used to that you are flying"
Has Walcott played recently?

It's tactics, not a punishment, might be the correct move might not be:)

second half started? either BBC sport (online) are taking their time or the 2nd half is taking a while to download.

EDIT - Never mind
